Catarina's smile grew slightly wider as she slowly lowered herself to the floor, her movements fluid and deliberate. She sat cross-legged on the mat, her hands resting on her knees, and her eyes closed once more. The music had stopped, and the room was silent, except for the sound of her gentle breathing.
As she sat there, a sense of stillness seemed to emanate from her, as if she was a calm center in the midst of a storm. Her chest rose and fell with each breath, and her body seemed to radiate a sense of peace and tranquility.
Suddenly, a faint noise came from outside the room, and Catarina's eyes snapped open. She listened intently, her head cocked to one side, as the sound grew louder. It sounded like footsteps, light and cautious, as if someone was trying not to be heard.
Catarina's expression changed, and a hint of wariness crept into her eyes. She slowly rose to her feet, her movements fluid and controlled, and took a step back from the door. She was watching the door, her eyes fixed intently on the handle, as if waiting for something to happen.
"What about my triplets? If you are asking why I am sending them to Red Phoenix Academy because I know they are capable of doing they are genius in their own right," Catarina said coldly as she closed her eyes. She opened them she grabbed her water bottle and she started to drink. She looked at her eldest brother and she sighed.
Lucas's eyes widened slightly at Catarina's cold tone, but he didn't back down.
"I know they're smart, sis. I just want to know them. They're my nieces and nephew, after all." He took a step closer, his eyes locked on Catarina's.
"I promise I won't pry or try to interfere. I just want to be a part of their lives."
"Do as you please brother," Catarina said as she yawned and went to her bed and waved her brother off. Catarina fall asleep right she kept on sleeping none stop until she heard her phone buzzing. Catarina sat up and looked right out of the window.
"What's the matter Julian?"
"Oh my gosh you won't believe it! All our elixirs are gone! I mean sold out holy shit isn't it his awesome!" Julian said and Catarina yawned.
"Mmm that's good," Catarina mumbled. Julian who was at Aullura Mage Store rolled his eyes.
"Kitty! Come on be more excited!" Julian said but Catarina was just cold she laid back down.
Catarina's voice was muffled by the pillow as she replied.
"I'm happy for you, Julian. But I'm tired. I'll talk to you later, okay?" Julian's voice was still energetic, but he could tell that Catarina was not in the mood for conversation.
"Fine, fine. I'll let you sleep. But we need to talk about the next batch of elixirs soon. We can't keep up with the demand at this rate." Catarina didn't respond, and Julian assumed she had already fallen back asleep. He sighed and ended the call, shaking his head in amusement.
"Only Catarina could be so unenthusiastic about selling out of their best-selling product," he thought to himself.
Catarina's eyes remained closed, and her breathing slowed as she drifted off to sleep once again. Her phone fell from her hand and landed on the bed beside her. The room was quiet, except for the sound of her gentle snores.
As she slept, the sun began to set outside, casting a warm orange glow over the room. The shadows grew longer, and the air grew cooler, but Catarina didn't stir.
Suddenly, her phone buzzed again, shrill and insistent. Catarina's eyes flew open, and she groggily reached for the phone. She rubbed her eyes, trying to shake off the sleep.
"Hello?" she mumbled, her voice husky with sleep.
"Kitty, it's me, Julian. I'm so sorry to wake you again, but we have a problem," Julian's voice was urgent, and Catarina's eyes snapped open.
"What is it?" she asked, her voice suddenly alert.
"It's the Evans family. They're trying to sabotage our elixir business. I just got a tip that they're planning to steal our recipe," Julian said, his voice low and serious.
Catarina's eyes narrowed, and her expression turned cold.
"I'll take care of it," she said, her voice dripping with menace.
Catarina's eyes gleamed with intensity as she worked, her fingers flying across the holographic screen. She quickly accessed the Evans' system, deleting the formulas and ensuring they couldn't be recovered. With a satisfied nod, she turned her attention to the Crimson Moon Hacker Alliance, her organization's logo appearing on the screen. "Crimson Wolf online," a low, husky voice announced, echoing through the virtual space. She saw countless of missions but she found none of them court her eyes not really. She ready dealt with her adoptive family she doesn't need to be kind anymore.
Catarina's eyes locked onto the proposal, her mind racing with the possibilities. She read through the details, her gaze scanning the virtual screen with intensity. The target was a cutting-edge tech corporation, known for its impenetrable security systems. The proposal was to infiltrate their server room and steal a highly classified AI program.
Catarina's lips curled into a small smile as she considered the challenge. She had a reputation for being one of the best hackers in the business, and this mission would be the perfect opportunity to solidify her position as Crimson Wolf.
She typed out a response, her fingers flying across the keyboard. "Crimson Wolf accepts the proposal. Provide more details on the target and the expected payout." The response was immediate, and Catarina's eyes scanned the new information.
The payout was substantial, but Catarina's attention was drawn to the additional information provided. The corporation was rumored to have a secret project codenamed "Eclipse," and the AI program was said to be the key to unlocking its true potential.
Catarina's curiosity was piqued. She had a feeling that this mission was more than just a simple heist. There were secrets hidden beneath the surface, and she was determined to uncover them. "Crimson Wolf is in," she typed, her eyes gleaming with anticipation.
