Chapter 10 – The Wedding II
Logan's POV
"That's right," my father confirmed, taking a sip of his wine.
The knife in my hand paused mid-cut.
I lifted my head slowly. "Wait… is it the Tyler I know and we all know that is getting married or another Tyler?"
"The one and only Tyler."
I frowned, setting my knife down. "You mean to tell me that after all these years, Tyler's dad is finally marrying Tyler's mom?"
The laugh my father let out was sharp, dry, mocking. "Of course not. What kind of fairytale are you living in, boy? They've been divorced for years."
I tensed. The way he said it, like it was the most obvious thing in the world, made my blood boil.
"Then who the hell is he marrying?" I demanded, my voice colder now.
My father's lips curled into a smirk. "Someone younger. Sweeter," he added with a mocking tone, as if the idea of a man leaving his longtime wife for a younger woman was amusing. "A fresh start."
