It's hard not imagine or wish everything could be the way it was before. It's every adult's dream to be a child again. Innocent, pure, full of mischief but to top it all to be with their parent. Even Madeline has the same dream but it was ruthlessly snatched away from her twenty years ago. The pain, the agony and the loss of losing her parents was a huge blow for Madeline.
Watching kids play with their mothers, some are doing outdoor yoga, some are skipping and the rest are teaching their kids how to split. It was fun watching and she could not help but relish a memory.
Maddy come down, you are going to fall , Iris , Madeline mother was scared as Madeline decided to build a tower with toy blocks and she decided to climb it.
I am not gonna fall mama, you are a scaredy cat, five year old Maddy says.
One must be wondering how a five year old kid is able to clim that tall wall she made. Even though young Maddy is taller than her teen, it is still hard to climb that. Anthony, Madeline's mischievous uncle was the one who carried her up there. He lost a bet to Madeline and he has to do whatever she wants. Madeline took the chance when her mother went to speak to one of the mothers at the park. Anthony got a call and warned Maddy not to move around that he would be back. Back to the present Iris is still trying to coax Maddy into coming down when she slipped.
Maddy!!! Iris screamed
Maddy shut her eyes for the pain that was about to come but she felt a warm and soft touch instead of the hard cold floor.
She opened her eyes to see who got her and she screamed in happiness Daddy!!!
Oh my darling, Kelvin, Maddy's father said.
I thought you weren't coming iris said. Anthony who heard the scream and came to the rescue but his brother got there before him. He knew he would be in trouble and he tried to sneak away but the little devil had to call him at that time
Uncle Anthony, why are you sneaking, Madeline fluttered her eye lashes so innocently that Anthony almost thought she did it on purpose. But then knowing Madeline she is so innocent🥺
Kelvin turned to face his brother and his face was full of anger. Before he could announce his punishment, Madeline struggled to come down from his hold and she clasped her palms together and did an innocent face to plead with him
Dad you can't punish Uncle, I made him put me there
Kelvin chuckled because he already knew Anthony and Madeline must have had a bet and Maddy won as it is not the first time this would happen though it wasn't always this extreme that's why he always lets it slide. I won't punish your uncle Maddy , I would just remove 30 percent of his allowance.
Anthony was so relieved when he hard that, he had thought his brother would send him to the military as he has always threatened him with it every time. He really thought he was done for this time. It seems Maddy's magic still has its effect.
Ouch, Madeline was broken from her reverie when a child hurt himself and the mother hurried to help. She smiled while replenishing the beautiful moment of her family and then she thought about how she had always being so mischievous as a child and always troubled her parents as well as her uncle. Her uncle was her third favorite human in the world but now they can never come back.
She picked up her phone to check the time and realize she has spent more than the usual time. She dialed a number and said get him out of my house I will be home in ten.
One thing she has learnt about having a friend is to never put your phone on speaker while speaking to your best friend. The sounds that were creeping out from her phone all shouldn't be heard by anyone and certainly not kids.
She chuckled and muttered, she is just as silly as uncle Anthony 😊
