"Lord Hokage, I want the Second Hokage's ninja tool... the Thunder God Sword!"
Uchiha Yuma spoke his desire aloud, finally expressing what was in his heart.
As he had thought on his way back to the village, when there is no shortage of Ninjutsu resources, it's best to prioritize rewards that can be obtained within the village.
During the time his Su Hui ability had been awakened, Uchiha Yuma had come to understand one crucial truth.
The foundation for him to stand firm in this world...
Was neither the power of the Sharingan nor sheer hard work through practice.
It was his entry extraction system!
It was this system that had accelerated his growth so dramatically. Even though his origins in this life were not rooted in the Uchiha clan, the system had made acquiring the Sharingan possible.
After all, as long as he made contact...
He could extract the corresponding entries—a power that was undeniably heaven-defying!
The Thunder God Sword, being a special ninja tool, would undoubtedly have related entries.
Weapon entries were invaluable. Equipping good skills onto weapons strengthened overall power, and even minor benefits could be converted into combat value.
Thus, there was no reason to hesitate. Obtaining entries would always be his top priority.
"Thunder God Sword? Yuma-kun, are you sure you don't want the Ninjutsu reward?" Sarutobi Hiruzen asked, visibly surprised.
Ordinary ninjas usually prioritized learning Ninjutsu when receiving rewards from the village.
But when his eyes fell on the flame fan crest on Uchiha Yuma's clothes, he slapped his forehead with a loud snap!
"Ah, I'm being foolish. Of course, you're Uchiha—one of our rising stars. Naturally, Ninjutsu wouldn't be an issue for you."
"That's exactly right, Hokage-sama," Yuma replied with a confident nod.
"Alright then, since you've made up your mind, I'll entrust Tobirama-sensei's weapon to you!"
Sarutobi Hiruzen summoned an Anbu member and whispered a few instructions. The Anbu nodded and left immediately to carry out the order.
"Yuma-kun, I've already sent someone to retrieve the Thunder God Sword. It should be here shortly."
"Thank you, Hokage-sama!" Yuma bowed in gratitude. Then, after a moment of hesitation, he added, "There's one more thing I'd like to discuss with you."
"If there's anything else, feel free to speak your mind," Hiruzen said kindly.
As Yuma stepped out of the Hokage Building, his pace was light, reflecting his satisfaction.
Everything had gone smoothly.
Sarutobi Hiruzen, ever the seasoned politician, had quickly understood his intentions. When the Anbu left to retrieve the Thunder God Sword, Yuma had expressed his desire to join the Security Department using Uchiha Setsuna as a starting point.
Hiruzen immediately grasped the underlying implications and voiced his support without hesitation.
This approval from the Hokage allowed Yuma to officially begin his plans within the Uchiha clan.
Issues of power and reputation were no longer major concerns for him. He had more than enough leverage to shake things up within the Uchiha clan.
As for whether his actions would create a rift between him and Uchiha Fugaku when the latter returned, Yuma wasn't worried.
That man, he thought, wouldn't take long to lose his best friend and awaken his Mangekyō Sharingan. When that happened, the White Zetsu cells Yuma had collected would become a critical tool in solidifying his own plans.
What's more, during his time spent with Uchiha Fugaku, Yuma had realized something: his personality was as indecisive as it had been in the original timeline.
This would make him easy to manipulate later.
With the Thunder God Sword in hand and Sarutobi Hiruzen's support, everything was falling into place.

The ability was decent but not something Yuma needed for himself. When attached to a weapon, its functionality was inferior to that of the Thunder Blade Fang.
Without hesitation, Yuma converted the entry into one hundred points of combat value.
The Thunder God Sword itself would serve better as a collection item. Its symbolic significance was undeniable.
However, Yuma's thoughts were interrupted by a commotion coming from nearby.
"Hmm? Why does it sound like someone's arguing?"
Curiosity piqued, Yuma changed his course. As a member of the Uchiha clan—and by extension, the Security Department—he had a strict sense of duty regarding the safety of his territory.
The Uchiha clan's sense of pride demanded that their law enforcement remain beyond reproach. Typically, disputes were resolved during clan meetings rather than out in the open.
Driven by this, Yuma quietly approached the source of the noise.
With his current abilities, none of the people present noticed his arrival.
However...
When the scene unfolded before him, Yuma was taken aback.
"Uchiha Inari, do you have no shame? You didn't even follow us to the front lines and die heroically!"
"What do you mean I didn't go? I applied, but Setsuna-sama blocked me!"
"You dare talk back to me? After offending Yuma-sama and being abandoned by Setsuna-sama, you're nothing!"
"Damn it! What do you want?" Uchiha Inari roared angrily at the two men cornering him.
In the past six months, the dynamics within the Uchiha clan had shifted dramatically.
When the village learned that Yuma had defeated Loquat Juzo, everything changed.
At the time, Uchiha Setsuna still had a cordial relationship with him.
But once Yuma had proven himself as a capable fighter, even against someone like Sasori of the Red Sand, the tables turned.
Yuma's growing reputation created ripples within the clan.
Now, even the Hokage saw hope in him—a Uchiha with the potential to become Hokage. This shift in perception gave the Uchiha clan renewed optimism about their future.
However, for Uchiha Inari, this was nothing short of a nightmare.
Once a prominent figure within the clan, he had lost favor and been marginalized after offending Yuma.
Now, his former subordinates used every opportunity to bully him.
"Not willing to yield? What do you even have left to be proud of?" one of his tormentors sneered, raising his hand to strike.
—Smack!
A figure appeared out of nowhere, catching the hand mid-air.
"Hey... I just came back and saw this. Really disappointing," Yuma said, his tone carrying a hint of exasperation.
