Chapter 44 - Yuma's Advice

Not long ago, Might Dai obtained an urgent piece of information.

The intel stated that his son, Might Guy, would be ambushed by the Seven Ninja Swordsmen.

Without wasting a moment, Dai rushed over in a hurry.

However, on his way, he found that Guy and his friends were unharmed. Relieved, he listened to their account, where they mentioned that their team leader, Uchiha Yuma, had claimed that the attackers were exceptionally strong.

Moved by the thought of Yuma protecting his son and the others, Dai immediately rushed to the battlefield to provide backup.

But upon arriving, the scene shocked him.

Uchiha Yuma stood alone amidst the battlefield, calm and unscathed. Around him, the bodies of the fallen lay strewn across the ground.

At first glance, Dai wondered if the information had been incorrect. Perhaps these were just ordinary ninjas, not the infamous Seven Ninja Swordsmen.

But as his eyes scanned the scene more closely, he froze.

The faces of the corpses... the distinct weapons sealed in the scrolls by Yuma... it all confirmed the impossible.

These were indeed the Seven Ninja Swordsmen, an elite group known throughout the ninja world!

The Seven Ninja Swordsmen weren't just any shinobi; they were legends, symbols of the Hidden Mist Village's power. Their names and feats were widely known, celebrated, and feared.

Yet here they were, all defeated, and by one person—Uchiha Yuma!

Dai stared at the young man before him.

Uchiha Yuma, a rising star from Konoha, was already known by his nickname, "Snapshot Yuma." His feats were impressive, but witnessing this level of power firsthand was something else entirely.

The realization hit Dai like a lightning bolt: this teenager had reached a power level comparable to that of a Hokage.

Dai's gaze lingered on Yuma's youthful face. Achieving this at such a young age was nothing short of extraordinary.

Meanwhile, Yuma had finished collecting the spoils of the battle. Noticing Dai's stunned expression, he sighed inwardly.

He could already predict how his reputation would grow after this event.

Soon, the name "Uchiha Yuma" would echo across the ninja world.

"Let's go, Uncle Dai," Yuma said, breaking the silence. "Guy and the others are waiting for us."

With that, he vanished into the forest, leaving the battlefield behind.

Yuma and Dai rejoined Might Guy, Shiranui Genma, and Ebisu. After traveling through the night, they finally arrived at Konoha's camp.

Once inside the camp, Yuma headed straight to the commander's tent. His pace was relaxed, knowing who he was about to meet: Uchiha Fugaku.

As the head of the Konoha Police Force and a prominent Uchiha leader, Fugaku commanded great respect. Yuma was certain Fugaku would appreciate the gravity of his accomplishment.

Entering the tent, Yuma found Fugaku seated, awaiting his arrival.

"Thank you, Yuma-kun," Fugaku said, nodding in approval. "It's no small feat to survive an encounter with the Seven Ninja Swordsmen, let alone while protecting three Genin."

Fugaku's tone was filled with genuine admiration. While he knew Yuma's skills were formidable, escaping with the lives of three Genin in the face of such overwhelming odds was extraordinary.

Yuma, however, remained serious.

"Lord Fugaku," he began, handing over two scrolls. "You should summon the intelligence squad and all the Jōnin in the camp. These scrolls contain something you need to see."

Fugaku raised an eyebrow.

"The intelligence squad makes sense, but why call all the Jōnin?"

"You'll understand once you open the scroll with the heads," Yuma replied firmly.

Curious, Fugaku didn't waste any time. He opened the scroll, releasing a puff of smoke.

As the smoke cleared, a dozen severed heads were revealed.

Fugaku's eyes widened in shock.

"Is that... the Jinin Akebino?! And the others... these are the Seven Ninja Swordsmen!"

"That's correct," Yuma confirmed. "But there's more. Among these heads are other individuals you should investigate."

Fugaku's expression grew even more serious.

"I'll summon the intelligence team immediately," he said, nodding. "And I'll gather the Jōnin as you suggested."

Ten minutes later, the tent was filled with Konoha's best and brightest.

The Jōnin present exchanged uneasy glances. Summoning both the intelligence squad and the entire Jōnin force meant something monumental had occurred.

Fugaku rose from his seat, addressing the group.

"The reason I've called you here is simple," he began. "These heads are why."

He gestured toward the table, where the severed heads were displayed.

The room erupted in gasps and murmurs.

"Are those...?"

"The Seven Ninja Swordsmen!"

"Impossible! How are they dead?"

Fugaku raised a hand, silencing the room.

"Yes, they are dead," he confirmed. "And the person responsible for this... is standing right here."

He turned to Yuma, who stood quietly in the corner.

"Uchiha Yuma defeated the Seven Ninja Swordsmen single-handedly."

The room fell silent once more as every Jōnin turned to look at the young Uchiha.
