Chapter 28 - 028 THE SLAVE WITH A CHASTITY BELT

028 THE SLAVE WITH A CHASTITY BELT

"What is this?" he asked a nearby shopkeeper, picking up several pieces of thin fabric—lingerie.

"Object: Cloth"

"Magic Tier: Cakra Svad Tier 2"

"What? Are you shopping for the courtesans or maids?" Kasshyek asked, incredulously.

"Shut up."

"This material is exquisite. It would look delightful on my slave when she massages me, don't you think?" Leo replied, glancing at the shopkeeper.

"Indeed! This cloth comes from a clan of powerful lady mages. After their clan was destroyed, their belongings ended up here. Most people don't come here for fashion, so these pieces are hard to sell. They smell wonderful though. I can give you a good discount if you want it for your missus," the shopkeeper said, wrapping up the lingerie and handing the bag to Kasshyek.

Leo purchased the lingerie at a steal, the whole bunch of them, while Kasshyek shook his head in disbelief. "I thought you were here for spells or protection equipment."

"I am, these pieces are treasures," Leo replied.

"What do they do? Lingerie? They're meant to be taken off, right?" Kasshyek asked.

"Huh, you're developing a sense of humor. No, some of these garments have special attributes. They can conceal magic, making powerful mages appear weak to those who might probe them, and many more," Leo explained.

"Really? That's impressive. How did you know? But are you going to wear them? I can't imagine you in lingerie," Kasshyek asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Idiot, there are so many pieces of them. I can cut them to make a robe," Leo replied with a smirk.

"These clothes are magical—able to resist fire, cold, lightning. Why are such treasures sold as rags?" Leo whispered to Kasshyek as he inspected more of the same.

"Are they really treasures?" Kasshyek asked, astonished unable to tell the lingerie's worth.

"I'll buy all of these from you," Leo told the shopkeeper, making Kasshyek's jaw drop.

"How am I supposed to carry all this? I told you we should have brought the soldiers!" Kasshyek lamented.

"We can sell you a donkey," the shopkeeper offered, clearly amused.

"Good, a donkey is good. I owe Lillrune one", Leo said.

"Right. The bet."

"Just Kidding. I couldn't get a donkey out of here," Leo replied to the shopkeeper as the bundle of clothes disappeared.

Leo stored them into his magic storage.

"You have a magic storage ring?" Kasshyek asked in surprise, but Leo didn't reply to him.

Magic artifacts that could store goods exist in this world, but they were extremely rare and expensive. It wasn't likely that Lilleo Gullee could afford one of them.

"Are there more wares from this destroyed magic clan?" Leo inquired.

"Over at the Slavers' Corner. They may be still selling the female mages—virgins, can you believe it? Hundred year old virgins. You may still catch one or two of them left if you want them," the shopkeeper replied.

"Damn, I must see this," Leo said eagerly, moving toward the slavers' area.

"Yeah right", Kasshyek added annoyedly.

"Thank you, rich customer," the shopkeeper called out, counting his coins.

-----

They walked to the Slavers' Corner, just a block away.

The atmosphere was reminiscent of the Gomora outside, with slaves on display everywhere. But these were no ordinary captives; their cages were magically reinforced, ensuring even the most powerful mages could not escape.

An auction was underway, featuring a large cage with a woman inside.

She appeared weak and famished, her body dehydrated and exposed, yet her face bore a defiant expression. This woman had once been a noble.

"This one was a noblewoman and a mage—proud and regal until she fell. She's now up for sale. Don't ask me what you can do with her, she's untamed. You'll have to break her yourself, either with whips or your coc... hahaha."

The auctioneer continues after a hearty laugh.

"The sellers provide an additional service: she's cursed to become a willing slave to whoever breaks her chastity belt and takes her chastity. Can you believe it, a virgin at this age? No refunds or locksmith services are included though, hahaha," the auctioneer described chuckling again.

"Is that how they're treating these women?" Kasshyek asked, irritated.

"Welcome to Gomora", Leo replied to him.

The patrons gazed at the naked woman in the cage on display with a blend of anticipation and contempt, relishing in the humiliation of nobility brought low.

Yet, despite the murmurs and smirks, no one placed a bid for her.

It wasn't due to a lack of interest—far from it.

The woman, no more than in her early twenties, retained a haunting beauty despite her cruel treatment. Her pale skin, framed by a face still regal and fair, was a stark contrast to the bloodied filth around her.

The issue, however, lay in her spirit as the crowd found out murmuring among themselves.

"Anyone who buys her will face a hard time taming her."

"It's a waste of money."

"She is untamable, defiant to the last breath."

"Not unless you fuck her, she'll be yours forever."

"She's been placed under powerful eastern love curses making her first lover, her only and last."

"The curse weakens her magic too, she was a powerful mage before her fall. She's harmless now."

"So, all we need is to fuck her?"

The slavers had tried to tame her, only to find her unbroken even under the lash. As a final measure, they cursed her, ensuring she would only submit to the one who could claim her fully, her chastity.

But there was a catch—a cruel twist of fate that made her unsellable.

"It's impossible to fuck her now, she's locked and unbreakable."

The chastity belt that bound the slave was unbreakable, crafted by a master locksmith, and no keys were ever made. The locksmith was slain before a key was made for the woman's chastity belt, by none other than the woman herself.

"Alright, we'll have to reduce the price," the auctioneer grumbled, lowering the bid repeatedly until it was almost free.

"Damn, if someone buys her, we'll even offer free delivery!" he joked, desperate to attract buyers and rid of the ware.
