Before he could continue that train of thought, a man dressed in strange garb—feathers, garlic, and herbs—approached. The Medicine Man.

The Medicine Man rushed outside, and Leo followed, finding himself in the middle of a chaotic scene.
Bandits were storming through the village's flimsy defenses, heading toward the center. But the village square wasn't what Leo had expected. It wasn't just a gathering spot. Strange, ominous totems loomed over it, carved with figures Leo couldn't recognize.
"This game has way too much fucking detail," he muttered, taking it all in.
Suddenly, the Medicine Man began chanting, his voice rhythmic and powerful. The air grew thick with tension, and Leo felt a strange sensation prickling his skin.
"What the hell?" Leo whispered. "I can feel this shit?"
As the totems around the square started to glow, Leo saw something unexpected—lines of code, faint and floating in the air, intertwined with the magic. It was like seeing the programming that powered the spell itself.
Dassa, the woman from earlier, noticed his expression. "What do you see?" she asked.
"I... I see the magic codes," Leo whispered back, eyes wide in a language she would understand. "Like, the actual fucking coding."
Then the magic codes disappeared as soon as he saw them. Before he could process what was happening, the bandits broke through the village's defenses. Their leader, a massive brute on horseback, sneered at the villagers.
"Your pathetic magic won't save you," he bellowed at the villagers. "Hand over your virgins, or we'll slaughter you all!"
Leo rolled his eyes. "Of course, the beginner mission involves saving fucking virgins."

Without warning, the bandit leader fired a magical arrow. It shattered the protective barrier the Medicine Man had created, sending the old healer crashing to the ground bleeding.
