Lisa was shocked to hear that. She froze in her place, before blinking her eyes rapidly and said, "Dove! Are you being serious?" She looked at Dove's face who looked back at her with helplessness in her eyes, and glistening tears in them.
"Oh my God! See, darling! Though, technically I should be happy for you. But I am so sorry, I can't! We have just completed our high school, and not even joined university! And you are just eighteen!" Lisa exclaimed. She paced to and fro, then looking at Dove, she asked anxiously, "Dove! Did you tell your boy friend?"
Dove, who was quiet and blank, sitting on the bed, she raised her eyes to look at Lisa. A tear fell from her eyes, and she sighed, "L- Lisa. The truth is that, I- I don't have a boyfriend!"
