Mike immediately alerted himself as soon as he saw the system's notification. He used the Eye of Mayari to scan his surroundings only to see that something big and grotesque is lurking just behind him. He found it disgustingly salivating while running with its spider-like legs.
"Bang!"
He immediately kicked the monster far away, sending it flying towards a bushy area, therefore, giving Mike, enough time to summon K'lung and K'filan. To his horror, however, the system locked the weapons temporarily.

While he is busy, the monster recovered and speedily went towards the location of Mike, aiming to devour him completely.
"Rawr!"
It opened its humongous jaw, which are full of spikes, to finish Mike.
"Slash!"
Unfortunately, the monster doesn't know the capabilities of Mike, who leveled up through his obsessive training for a week.
"You filthy spider child!"
He doesn't have a choice but to use Kalis, since it is much stronger than the Jade Daggers that he bought just a week ago.
"Take this!"

He jumped straight to the air and landed to the Monster's back, slashing it multiple times.
"Die!"
Unfortunately, the monster is surprisingly agile and rotated its head three-hundred sixty degrees to the right to see Mike, before launching its sharp tongue to pierce him.

The monster forcibly remove him from its back, causing him to finally let go of it while launching another attack.
"Grrr!"
It tried to impale Mike using one of its legs. Fortunately, the Spectre was able to escape from the attack in no time before summoning the five pale-looking daggers and launching towards the monster.

He then used the Eye of Mayari to detect the information of the terrifying outsider.

Mike told while gasping for air. It is obvious that he was caught off guard by the sudden attack.

He swung his hands towards the Outsider. After that, it was thwarted by a powerful mysterious energy to one of the trees.

He then found the monster, hanging while most of its body are impaled on the dead branches of the trees.
Mike leaped into the air and brought the five daggers along with him which he used to impale the monster in the eyes.

The Nitun howled in extreme agony and pain. It tried to resist with its legs, The Spectre however, proved to be much stronger, making it succumb to its death.

Mike wondered who is the being named Death god and how powerful he is to the point that Mike needed to make an effort just to make the daggers work. He put his hand on his chin to make himself comfortable while thinking.
"Think about it! The boss named Tud Bulul is the owner of K'lung and K'filan. If I'm not wrong, I saw the information of him being the 'Commander of the Moon'..."
He wondered before deducting the only viable conclusion.
"Does that mean that I have to kill this Death God in order to make Kalis work? Nevermind!"
Mike sighed and scratched his head. This is not the best time to mind those things as he found that it is almost 2 o'clock in the Morning.
"I'll use Kalis for the mean time in order to know unlock its secrets! For now, I should leave this creepy place!"
Mike was about to leave when he suddenly remembered the rock of the Crystal Golem that he got early this day.

A wide grin drew across Mike's face.

The Chairman suddenly bolted in gladness as he heard a very good news coming from one of his chief officers stationed in Cavite.
"That's good! Please tell them that I'll be there in no time! Text me the location!"
"Sure, sir!"
The voice of the officer is full excitement, reflecting the emotions of the Chairman.
In no time, he dashed on the location to ensure that the escapee is really killed. When he saw it in person, he felt glad, knowing just how powerful the monster really is if left unfound.
"Have you identified the hunter who killed it?"
His youthful smile highly opposes his middle-age physique.
"No, Chairman! Unfortunately, we just found it impaled on the tree while having these deep wounds on its chest and neck! From the looks of it, it does seem like it was done just by a single person! However, we are not yet sure that's why we need to conduct more investigation!"
The Chairman, suspecting that this is the work of an unnamed S-rank immediately thought of their numbers near Cavite. When he cannot find a name, he inquired again to the Chief officer.
"Chief Zamuel, do you perhaps remembered any S-rank hunter near the area?"
His face is serious, seeking an answer that seems highly impossible to seek, mirroring the impression of Chief Zamuel Rodriguez, the commanding officer for the province of Cavite.
"I don't sir! The nearest high-class hunters is the Guildmaster of Minokawa Guild in Rizal and the Commander of Southern Luzon Islands who possess a base on an Islet near Batangas..."
"I see..."
He walked away from the Chief to think for a minute.
"Guildmaster Sillas is definitely not the one since he is not even aware by this fact. On the other hand, I find it highly impossible for Commander Lopez to take action for this...
The Chairman then closed his eyes and activated his Glitch Realm skill. It is one of his special abilities that involves using the eye that he liked to call as the Sixth Sense to scan mana remnants left by a certain hunter on a recently-ended battle.
In his vision, he saw a faint trace of scarlet aura on some trees. They were filled with bloodlust and tenacity to the point that he could feel it himself as if he's the one being killed.
"Found him!"
He immediately went on the traces but was disappointed when he found them to end on the Highway.
"It seems like I lost him..."
He told the chief and his subordinates, who chased him relentlessly after they thought he detected something dangerous.
When they found him however, they found him staring in the air, the wind swaying his long and silky hair. Eyes closed.
"Bring over the body in the Headquarters, tomorrow!"
He tapped their shoulders before calling his driver to come and pick him up on the road. Minutes later, it arrived.
"Understood, Chairman!"
They bowed their heads down as a respect to him before he rode on the car.
As soon as it was just the two of them, the driver, his own Chief of Staff, asked him about his findings.
"How did everything went, sir?"
"It seems like I lost him..."
The driver, knowing what does the Chairman mean, assured him.
"You still have the unlimited chances, right?"
He jokingly smiled to comfort the Chairman and stared on the window.
"I hope so...'

Mike glanced on his mobile gadget to double-check if he went on the right place.
"Seems right!"
It is currently morning. A new day and definitely a new opportunity for Mike to level up. As he walked towards the Hex, he saw many people staring at him in a lowly manner.
'Yeah, right! They probably saw my license and my rank too...'
Not that he is affected since they are not aware about his big change. Normally, these words would have been a huge matter for him but now it's different.
"Hello, I'm Mike Sandov-"
"We don't accept weaklings on our raids, go back!"
Mike tried to be nice and shake hands with the team but was only greeted by a discourteous and impolite man whose breath smelled like a rotten garlic bread and cheese.
'What the heck is with that smell?'
He was not offended by the narcissistic attitude displayed by him but rather by the physical appearance of the man, whom he considered as unhygienic and dirty.
"Nevermind!"
He left while covering his nose with a handkerchief, mocking the man who turned out to be the leader of the party. He was surrounded by his team, who shared the equally horrifying appearance.
"Hey!"
The man tapped his shoulders aggressively to talked with Mike, who is obviously pissed by the fact that he was insulted.
"What do you want?"
He glared at the man seriously almost threateningly, making him hold back for a second but still continues with his taunting to the Spectre.
"Why don't we just seat here for a second?"
The leader offered a dirty chair on the side to Mike, before ordering his team to surround him, while holding their weapons.
"Listen here you weakling! You might not be aware of this but I'm their leader and I don't remember allowing you to leave!"
When Mike did not answer and just look at him pitifully he ordered one of his men to punch him in the face.
"Pang!"
Unfortunately, Mike's fast reflexes immediately helped him to escape from the men.

The Spectre revealed sharp nails which he used to target them at long range.
"Damn it!"
They were surprised by the sudden long-range hurls which they failed to swiftly evade Some of them who were unable to dodge the sharp nails, are heavily injured and knocked unconscious.

Mike then held the Jade Daggers on his hand and attacked them in a wild manner.

The leader was visibly annoyed by the fact that this man is kicking his ass. Before he could respond any longer, someone punch him in the eye, causing him to scream in pain.
"Ahh!"
He held his face before receiving a kick from Mike, sending him crashing to a pile of trash.
"I'm sorry! You did it first!"
Mike talked with the unconscious bodies of the hunters, before tying them together using the chains that he bought from the shop.
"You better be good men as once you resisted from these chains, they would explode!"
He tapped their heads before entering the Hex all by himself.
"Thanks for the freebie!"
He smiled and made a peace sign before seeing the massive walls on his side.
"This is the first time, seeing this!"
He looked at the walls closer and found that they were painted with a massive mural, depicting a scene of glowing giants fighting primitive humans.
"This seems to be a scene out of fantasy!"

Mike could not believed his fortune today. A new title? Someone gotta be kidding him! He gained another title just by reading the Murals? Fantastic!

He continued to walk deeper on the dungeon. As he went, however, it became darker to the point that he couldn't see a single thing.
"It's a shame that all my magic-based skills are sealed by the system! I couldn't cast a single fireball! Phew!"
He became agitated at the thought of the system wanting him to die.
"If this one of your schemes to kill me, I'll make sure you would fail!"
There are no responses from the system, however.
"Damn you!"
He closed his eyes for a second as he used the Eye of Mayari to detect the path. Fortunately, upon training, the eyes became more versatile. It can now be used like a night-vision device, capable of seeing even into the darkest environment.
Mike then continued walking towards the boss room. From the looks of it, it seems to be a labyrinth-type Hex as the paths are crossing one another as if they were made to confuse anyone who dare to explore it.
"This murals seems to depict pre-historic humans, worshipping their gods!"
With the title, "The Seer of Murals", Mike easily understood the meaning of the paintings on the walls.
Just as he was about to read another Mural, a giant scorpion attacked him using its stinger.
"Slash!"
He felt a stinging pain on the area the scorpion stung.
"It fucking hurts!"

Mike summoned the Kalis from his inventory and readied for a battle. But, to his horror, he found that there are more giant scorpions than what he anticipated causing him to gulp down in anxiety. Nevertheless, he felt a strange excitement on his body.
"You guys are too troublesome! It's better if to kill you one by one!"
Mike leaped into the air and delivered a powerful kick on an unsuspecting outsider. When Mike landed on its back. The hard exoskeleton that formerly enveloped its body was crush and is now hammered on the ground it once stood at.
"Didn't expect that I could be this strong!"
Mike then flew over another scorpion and impaled it using the Kalis.
"Slash!"
The scorpion then let out a screeching roar before succumbing on the ground.
"Come at m-"
Before Mike could finish, however, multiple stingers have impaled his chest and was thwarted to a hard wall.
"Damn it!"

Mike then raised his hand on one scorpion. He concentrated his focus on it before activating his skill.

The scorpions began moving to him in a swift manner. Their sharp stingers ready to impale him again.

Mike used the skill again, determined to upgrade his Tyranny skill. He focused all of his energy on the scorpion and visualized it being picked up by a crane.

Mike immediately used the giant scorpion to swoop away the others while crushing it's head at the same time.
"Let's continue this madness!"
Mike flew towards the monsters while carrying the five daggers impaling them towards him. He then used the Javelins that he got towards the scorpions, impaling them on the ground.

He tried to get back the daggers towards him by using Tyranny. Unfortunately, he couldn't do it for some reason which made him extremely agitated.
"Not a problem! They will get back on the Primordial Box in no time!"
The daggers were quickly absorbed by the Primordial Box. He then summoned K'lung and K'filan and hurled himself towards the trapped scorpions.
"Woosh!"
He aggresively slashed a large number of them, making them howl in agony as their blood became a sacrifice for the Blood Moon skill of K'filan.

"You guys are too boring! Free yourselves!"
Using the Tyranny, he lifted the javelins off from them, allowing them to escape intently.

"Compare to Kalis, these javelins are light enough to be lifted by my skill level! Die!"
He hurled the projectiles again towards the scorpion outsiders. This time, however, they are smart enough to harden their exoskeleton, preventing the repeat of the impalement just moments ago.
"Kreek!"
From their stingers, red acids began to spurt out which Mike immediately dodged by leaping into the air.
He then hurled the Javelins again towards the scorpions, this time however, the projectiles are accompanied by the Strange Boulder.
"Bang!"
The boulder landed on the scorpions first causing a huge disarray on their formation, then they were followed by the Javelins which inflicted more damage by piercing their raw armor.

While these events are unfolding, Mike engaged some of the Scorpions which he easily killed using K'filan.

The bolo weapon turned into a familiar hue of scarlet-red. It is lusting for blood, encouraging Mike to attack in full power.

As soon as the sword landed on the scorpions, they were immediately dissected into pieces while the fires had incinerated the body.
While this is happening, a scorpion tried to sneak behind Mike and attack him. Unfortunately, Mike knew this and slammed the K'lung towards it!

Poisonous thorns had killed the monster, as soon as it collided with Mike's legendary shield.

Using one the most powerful skill on his arsenal, combined with the powerful passives of his weapons, Mike became untouchable by the scorpions. It was truly a massacre.

Mike put the sword and shield on the Primordial Box and held two Javelins on his right hand which flew towards him. He is truly a madman! If powerful hunters are on his place, they would definitely end this fight already by using the Astras. However, the Spectre came here with a different purpose-- To level up his skills.
"Fight me!"

Right now, he is fighting using only the two fragile weapons on his hands. Surprisingly, however, he possess the upper hand in this battle. In fact, the only time when he received damage was only when he did not expected a Scorpion to sting him. Aside from that time, he is just treating these outsiders as mere training dolls.

Relentless on his assault, the once formidable scorpion legion began to fall down. Mike, glad that his strategy of using the powerful weapons on his arsenal to inflict the damage while letting the Kalis take the final blow is extremely effective.

Mike began questioning himself again which made him cringe.

A large door showed up in front of Mike it bears a resemblance to those found in Ancient Egypt.
"Hiss!"
A strong, pungent smell invaded his nose, accompanied by an overwhelming pressure, as soon as he opened the door.
"Where's that stench coming from?"
He continued walking to examine the inside of the large room which he believes to be that of the Boss. As he went deeper, he noticed that he step on something sticky and viscous on the floor, causing him to put his attention down to his foot.
"Squelch!"
To his horror, he found the rotten body of a scorpion like the ones he encountered earlier.
"What the heck?"
He used the night-vision skill in Eye of Mayari. When he saw the surroundings, he couldn't help but feel disgusted by the thought of leaving the room covered in this disgusting liquid.
When he diverted his attention on the center, he found a wide table, decorated with many ornaments. The creature sitting on it seems to be like a giant centipede?
"Goddamn it! I hate insects!"
Mike, drew his Kalis weapon and prepare his battle stance.
"Kriek!"
The dark room suddenly lightened, revealing an intricate fortress inside.
Mike saw the Centipede, guarded by five of scorpion-like guards. He could feel that these guys would be more powerful than the ones he killed earlier.
"Roar!"
They roared like a lion, thirsting for the blood of their prey. Mike felt a slight tremble on his heart as they slowly drew their humongous claws that act like a sharp blade, connected directly on their body.
'Damn it! Is this really a C-rank dungeon? Should I run for now? I don't think I'll be able to kill five of them...'
Nevertheless, he scanned the creatures in front of him.

Just as Mike is swiftly gaining confidence he felt a powerful hit on his belly that sent him flying towards a pillar.

He said as he helped himself to stand-up. After that, he raised his sword towards the Boss and spoke again.
"I'm afraid that would not be enough to kill me instantly!"

He is afraid that he would not be able to collect their souls, causing him to call forth Kalis to replace K'filan.
"Come at me you alien-looking spinaches!"
He engaged the guards in a brutal one-on-one clash which astounded the outsiders.

Black energy accumulated on the centipede mouth and shoot it towards the hunter who cannot dodge it in no time.

He hurled himself towards the boss and impaled one of its eye. The named-boss then howled in agony and began to move aggressively.

He then focused his attention to the guards who are currently attacking him relentlessly with their stingers and sharp claws.
"I'm not here for your shits!"
He used the strange boulder to hurl it towards one of them, crashing another guard instantly.
"You guys are just weaklings!"
He then leaped into the air and attacked Sula with all his might!
"Take this!"
He tried to hit its remaining but was suddenly thwarted by a powerful kick that made him cough blood. As soon as that happened, Sula then moved in a circular manner, forming a powerful sand storm that aims at Mike.
*The boss activated Sand Tornado!*
"Oh shit!"
When the storm reached him, he became dizzy, trapped in the sandstorm.
"Bang!"
Not wanting to stay on that situation forever, he hurled the Strange Boulder towards the centipede's face, crushing a part of its thick shell.
"Slash!"
Using the Kalis, Mike turned his attention yet again to the guards, determined to eliminate them first while the boss is not yet ready to attack again.
"Ha!"

Mike is thankful that he was able to level-up his Basic Bowmanship to Marksmanship, making his attacks more efficient.
"Have you guys forgotten that daggers can still be hurled towards enemies?"
Mike's brilliant use of his inventory to quickly switch his weapons became his most lethal blitz against the Outsiders.

And it finally happened! Killing another guard means that his enemies are now down to two.

He smiled to the last remaining scorpion guard widely before summoning the Kalis again to make his another attack.

But just as he is ready to end the guard, a giant smoke began to materialize causing him to be confused about the next turn of events.

Mike move through the mist. Seeing this spell had somewhat reminded him of his last fight against the elite warriors of Sarimbal Guild. Realizing this, he immediately covered his mouth and nose to avoid inhaling the toxic effects of the ominous smoke.
"Cough!"
Some of the smoke had found their way into his nostrils, causing him to realize the malodorous smell exuded by the smoke. The skin had also reacted harshly to the substance as he began to feel itchy and stinging pain.
"Hrrrk!"
The centipede began to suffocate him using its long body, ready to devour him as soon as he was killed.
"Krrrrk!"
He then glanced slightly at the remaining guard. He found it readying its claws to finish him.

Seeing the rapidly decreasing of his Health and Mana points, Mike began to feel furious.

Mike blamed the system for sealing most of his powerful abilities. He is really mad at the fact that it forced him on many life or death situations.

To his madness, he forcefully controlled several volleys such as Javelins, Nails, and boulders to throw them right on his and the outsiders' position.

If there is one thing that Mike has an advantage, it would be his inhumane speed. Years of training without relying on the skills bestowed by the system had made his reflexes out of reason.
The ability to become stronger with experience-- that is the real strength of Mike. His determination on the battle despite being on the disadvantage enabled him to become a master tactician and hunter, long before he became the Spectre.

Mike wondered became concerned at the fact that he could not absorb the soul of the boss but realized something...
"Maybe my level is still too low to absorb such a powerful Outsider! Wait, its rank is much lower compare to the Niton! How did it fail? Nevermind!"
He hurriedly went towards the exit as the Hex began to disintegrate from inside!
"Yeah! I still have these bastards!"
He found the stinky hunters, still unconscious while being chained to the ground. To avoid any further confrontations, Mike removed the lock of the chain so that they could free themselves as soon as they awakened themselves up.
"Thank you again!"
He bowed to the unconscious monkeys before leaving silently.
