A twisting of fate.
The way my life played out was not what I expected, nor is anyones really, but all the bad parts of my life, made the good even better, let me explain, my parents died in a car accident in 2013 when I was 17 and my younger brother was 15, they were hit by a drunk driver, driving to visit my oldest brother and his wife in Vancouver more than half way across the state, me and my younger brother had to move in with our older brother James and his wife Kelly, we had to pack up every thing leave all of our friends, our home, and I had to say goodbye to the man I was in love with, a man who didn't even know I loved him. Then finally, I turned 18, and I got my first job, my first car and then I started saving money to go and see everyone back in Spokane, it was all planned, and then I fell of my horse at my brothers ranch and broke three ribs and had to postpone the trip, and 6 months turned to a year, a year turned to two and then suddenly I'm 23 and still haven't gone yet, so I decided that no matter what I was doing this, and I got in the car, the morning of September 1st and drove across the state to play airsoft with all the people I haven't seen in 6 years.
So, let me tell you the story, of how the worst night of my life, turned into the best years of it.

(Owen)"Damm Roxy, you really did me dirty out there, I dont think you missed a single shot!" Owen the general manager and one of my oldest friends says
"Well, you know me, my aim just gets better the more you piss me off, and well leo did a pretty good job of that"
(Leo)"hay, I dont think I was that bad"
Leo is not a person I use to know but from what I can tell he is a good person most of the time
"You kept shooting me in the boob ya' jackass!"
(Leo)"I dont see the problem"
"I was on your team!"
(Leo)"....I still don't see the problem"
(Casper)"Leo shut the fuck up"
(Leo)"....fine..."
Casper, he is like the older brother none of us wanted, but we all love him like a brother, he's in his mid 30s and has had three kids all teenagers now so he knows how to handle people like Leo
"Hay Owen, when is psycho gett'in here?"
(Owen) "he said he'd be here in 30 but with traffic its gonna be more like 45"
"Ok thanks Owen"
psycho aka Jason is the man I was in love with before I moved, and after I came back, and met him again after so long, I still feel the same way about him that I did back then and it is driving me crazy, when he walks into the room all I can smell is him, the smell of pine and fresh mountain air does things to me it really shouldn't, when we make eye contact my heart feels like its going to jump out of my chest, and I just can't get him out of my head.
"Hay, I'm gonna go get food, anyone want anything?
(Leo)"no"
(Casper)"no thanks Roxy, all good"
(Owen)"no thanks Roxy"
(Kirk)*Casper eldest son* "nope"
(Alex)*reff for vortex and a close friend*" no thanks Rox"
(Ari)*owens little sister*"i'd like a chocolate milkshake please"
"Ah-ha got one great, I'll be back in ten, and Owen if psycho gets here before I'm back, let him know, ok"
(Owen)"allright Roxy, you got it"
(Ari)"Oow, Roxy likes psycho!"
(Casper)"shut the fuck up Air, Roxy and Jason have been friends since before you were born"
(Owen)"I second that, Ari your only 12, Jason and Roxy have been friends for 14 years, Roxy how old were you when you started coming here"
"Well, you james *my brother* Alex and pyscho were all 15 so Probably 9...Ya 9"
(Ari)"none of that means anything, in fact it only proves my point even more"
"Ok, well I'm going to get food ya'll can debate whether or not I like psycho" wow the fact that a 12 year old, picked up on that and a room full of grown men who've known me for so long didn't is absolutely amazing, its a good thing.
