"I won't leave till you let me talk to you," he said. Luna was about to respond when he cut her off.
"I just want to sit and talk," he said softly, as Luna scoffed.
"Just sit and talk?" She asked, raising an eyebrow, as he nodded.
"I need 30 minutes of your time. I'll turn this boring night of yours into a night to remember, and if I fail, then I'll be at your mercy," he said, his eyes sparkling with amusement.
Luna looked at him skeptically, folding her arms.
"You sure look desperate," she said. "I'll give you 30 minutes, and you better not waste my time."
He clapped his hands, sitting opposite her.
"You're a scary woman," he said, sipping from his glass before looking at Luna. "If I were still a child, I would have peed in my pants."
The clock was already ticking in Luna's head.
"I couldn't help but notice that you called me names like 'son' and 'boy'," he said. "Why is that? You don't look older. You look younger than me, but you used those words."
Luna paused, looking at him with a mixture of curiosity and wariness.
"I look younger than you?" She asked, scoffing. "Do you know how old I am?"
He smiled, sipping from his cup.
"I'm 42, dimwit. So show some respect to an elder and don't say I don't look my age. I'll kill you if you do." She rolled her eyes.
"But you don't look your age," he said, smiling again.
She glared at him, but he just chuckled.
"I'm serious," he continued. "When I saw you, I thought you were 20 or 22. You're too beautiful to be 42. Even my mother doesn't have this much beauty," he said, his eyes locked on hers.
Luna couldn't help but smile. "You're crazy. That can't be true," she said, trying to control her smile.
He shrugged, his gaze still intense. "I love your smile. It's beautiful. Don't show it to any other man. I tend to be a jealous lover," he said, his voice low and smooth.
She scoffed, smiling. "Dude, you're crazy. We aren't even in a relationship. How can you say stuff like that?"
"Who knows?" He replied. "I might be your man. The one you've been waiting for."
Luna burst out laughing. "Dude, your head is full of crap," she said, still chuckling.
He leaned forward, his eyes sparkling with amusement.
"I'm Ian Fletcher" he introduced, as she looked amused.
"Oh, the Golden boy," she said, smiling, and Ian waved it off.
"I saw the way everyone cheered when you walked in. You must be a big catch," she teased, and Ian rolled his eyes.
"Please, let's not talk about that. Tell me your name," Ian said.
Luna smiled. "I know you already know my name. You must have asked around before coming here."
"True, I did," Ian admitted, "but I'd love to hear it from you."
Luna smiled mischievously. "Let me ask a question. Are you here because you want to have sex with me?"
Ian smiled and leaned forward. "I'd like to ask you the same thing."
Luna looked confused. "What do you mean?"
"When I first approached you, you looked like you'd fling me on this table and have your way with me," Ian said, and Luna shrugged.
"Touche," she said, drinking from her cup. "Now, answer the question."
Ian sighed, looking into her eyes. "I just want to get to know you and have fun. If you feel like having sex with me, I won't stop you."
Luna smiled and they talked for an hour, laughing and drawing attention. Ian did most of the talking, and they both seemed to have a great time.
As the night wore on, Luna sighed, drinking from her glass. "Shockingly, I had a good time. I didn't see my day ending like this, but I'm happy it did, thanks to you."
Ian smiled. "Thank you for letting me make this night fun for you. I want to do it again. Just you and me on a date."
Luna bit her lip, wanting to see him again. Just as she was about to respond, her friends arrived, snatching her away.
Ian smiled, knowing he'd see her again.
