A few hours passed after The Uprising Venom invasion and Azka-Lal was imprisoned inside the glimmering red cylinder containment. The containment was pulled away by the armored policeman who headed into the chunky-bluish truck, scattering every piece of the box-like container on the truck into a sparkling particle. It unveiled the inside filled with other Uprising Venom members secured inside the cylinder containment.
The two policewomen who guarded the front of the floating building sneered at Viscable who recently landing on the ground and crossed his arms. Despite him being one of the city's protectors, the female officers were clouded by their suspicion toward The Ace Duelist as they fixated their glares on him.
The Ace Duelist nonchalantly switched his stare toward the observant officers, nodding his head in a polite demeanor. Uncertainty might shiver into the policewomen's veins after the new hero noticed their silent inspection, agitatedly moving back from Viscable and tightening the holds on their riffles.
"No need to be worried fellow officers, I can assure your safety as long as I'm here," The Ace Duelist assured through raising his pitch, forcing the two policemen to cringe in a little bit of bitterness.
"Yeah…sure," The female officer replied anxiously.
"And what….we supposed to call you, new hero?" The other officer joined the conversation with a question.
The Ace Duelist confidently pointed his finger on his chest and introduced himself, "Call me, Viscable."
Wariness remained strong on lingering in the female officers's minds before they tilted their heads to the left, sighing as the five familiar figures approached The Ace Duelist. Then, the officers respectfully bowed, convincing The Ace Duelist to turn around and sharpen his watchful gaze.
"I think you, Viscable should discuss this with The Triumph Makers as they already arrived here," The other female officer uttered, tapping her frigid friend and proceeding to leave Viscable.
"Good…luck," The nervous officer said as she walked further from Viscable.
A hushed anticipation gushed into The Ace Duelist when he directly watched all the five members of Triumph Makers approach him. One of the members, VWX waved his hand and walked closer toward the new hero's direction before he was followed by Prila who gladly smirked.
"Finally I can meet you in person, The New Hero himself, Viscable," The leader of Triumph Makers, Daigrun VII engaged the conversation first.
Viscable humbly nodded and suggested, "Good to see you, The Leader of Triumph Makers Daigrun VII. However, let's continue our conversation afar from the citizen.
Daigrun VII hummed and replied, "Sure, I like your suggestion."
"Where is the location you going to pick?" Daigrun VII asked.
"The abandoned prism building near the forest. The same building that used to be the headquarters of the old Triumph Maker's base," The Ace Duelist suggested. "Do you agree with my suggestion?
Daigrun VII exhaled a hefty breath and uttered with a little bit of sternness consume him, "Alright then."
The Triumph Makers and The Ace Duelist picked the spot for settling discussion which was on the rooftop of the yellow prism tower located on the corner of Teldrium. To be more precise, an empty building with a couple of broken windows visible. The building stood across the lively forest that was blocked by the giant navy blue holographic wall.
Viscable cautiously locked his sight toward the leader and Mina Rodax who also traded their stares on him. The other three members, VWX, Prila, and Scrap Devil decided to watch from the back as the other two members tried to interrogate The Ace Duelist, focusing their glances on the new hero.
"As far as I know, Gdark rarely calls someone by their real name," VWX uttered, steering his sight at Prila.
"I bet he is just acting," VWX added, shaking his head.
Prila sheepishly giggled, "Absolutely. He never changes on that, Layfree."
"Alright since you two knew about this guy, here is my number one question, is he a good guy?" Scrap Devil asked.
Prila sharpened her stare at her former lover and answered, "It's quite complicated if his current self."
"However back then, he was like a personal trainer for Layfree and sometimes me especially on improving our power," Prila explained, peeking at VWX. "I must say, he was a good trainer. Because of him, Layfree could easily control his laser."
VWX chortled and said, "I owed him that even though he one time almost beat me to death in the training."
"I see, so he was a harsh guy who deep down had a golden heart?" Scrap Devil guessed, snapping his fingers toward Prila."
Prila giggled, "Not exactly. I never see him as a legitimate good guy. I adored him because he was determined to reach his goal."
"Right now he was close enough to reach it," The Hair Magician exclaimed."And If I were you, I prefer not to let my guard down on him."
"I agree with Prila, don't expect him much like a friend you relied on," VWX agreed with The Hair Magician's argument.
Digesting the statement regarding Viscable sent a cautious atmosphere into the course of Scrap Devil's veins as he pinched his chin. He even took one step forward to get a clearer view of the ongoing discussion between his two allies and The Ace Duelist that remained ongoing.
"Viscable or your real name, Gdark Walteron. I've already heard about your heroic accomplishment of defeating Wrathful Slug," Daigrun VII said, sneaking his eyes to VWX and Prila shortly. "And I heard that you are a close friend to Prila and VWX.
"Also, there is information you also helped the two of them master their power. Impressive track record," Daigrun VII praised snarkily, exhaling the bothersome air from his throat.
"But since you initiated your heroic act in Gloricon, I suggested joining the combat test." Daigrun VII insisted.
"A combat test?" The Ace Duelist said, returning his voice to the firm one. Under the mask, he grinned in firing thrill.
"Indeed, A tradition to test the capability of the new hero," Daigrun VII asserted, "It can be counted as a qualification test to be the next member of Triumph Makers especially if you are interested."
"Oh yes, I remembered that my father took the combat test and offered the position as Triumph Maker member," The Ace Duelist remarked. "One exciting thing is he declined the offer."
The suspenseful atmosphere kicked into the Daigrun VII and Mina Rodax toward The Ace Duelist who drew his clutching hand. Baleful sense poured into Mina Rodax's head as she gleamed her eyes, obtaining the fading glimpse of the dark scorch covering Viscable's beating heart.
Then, Mina Rodax tapped The Triumph Maker on the right shoulder, glinting the vibrating azure sparks into her head. Daigrun VII dropped his startled jaw with the telepathic message being delivered by Mina Rodax, leading him to clench his fist and locking his anticipative furrow at The Ace Duelist.
"I'm not only going to reject the offer as Triumph Maker members, I would love to challenge the strongest members too," The Ace Duelist proposed, forcing Daigrun VII to grunt.
"Also I didn't share the same the motivation as my father, Viscable clarified, gripping his clutching hands and continuing with a riveting tone. "Instead, I only care to become the best there is!!
"To do that, I must defeat the strongest individual who live here first!" The Ace Duelist added, tilting his head to the back and scanning at VWX and Prila who heedfully stared at him.
Daigrun VII puffed, "You're indeed different than your father. You let a dark power consume you."
"That's possibly a reason I couldn't scan your mind," Mina Rodax accused. "You've blocked it with the dark power within."
"Obviously," The Ace Duelist confirmed. "I didn't want to have my mind being an opened book, infuriating telepath"
The revelation of Viscable's truth quivered Scrap Devil who shivered his legs, briefly screaming in bewilderment. VWX wrapped his staggering knuckle, boiling his head in heated frustration. His action caught the interest of Prila who placed her frown on him, biting her concerned lips.
"And you, Morgozoid, can I choose my opponent for the combat test," Viscable asked, chuckling.
Daigrun VII grunted in annoyance and uttered with a deep resentment, "Yes, you can choose your opponent."
"Alright then. My first pick is you, beloved trophy girl," The Ace Duelist stated affirmatively, pointing his fingers toward Prila who channeled the blistering pink energies on her long hair and closed her lips.
Prila laughed in ridiculousness and replied, "Oh Gdark, Gdark, I already anticipated you would say that."
"Is fighting me your way to express your love?" Prila teased, grinning giddily.
"Nah it's more like an observation to see how strong you are after I left you 10 years ago," The Ace Duelist countered delightfully.
Prila giggled and walked closer before she continued to tease, "Until this day, still thinking that you are the one who controls the flow of the world? Thinking the world is the one who bows to you?"
"Obviously," The Ace Duelist affirmed resolutely. "I'm going to make sure fate is powerless to stop me."
"Even let yourself be consumed by the dark power?" Prila mocked cordially, twinkling the pinkish ray in her eyes.
Viscable coughed and sneered, "Even the magnificent dark power, The Calamity Heart bow before my might."
"It might be thought, but its is one of the best weapon to be included in my arsenal" The Ace Duelist admitted, fulminating his beating heart with more swarm of the dark scorches
Prila widened her frowning glare and muttered, "I didn't expect you could do that. Gdark, you never seem to amaze me."
"Therefore, I will be glad to become your opponent in the combat test," Prila declared and raised her voice, "And its ti-"
Prila didn't finish her word with VWX pushing her away and stepping forward, gesturing his opened palm in front of her face. At first, The Hair Magician irritatedly winced. Eventually, she closed her eyes after her teammate revealed his glasses converging the scourging energies.
"Alright, Layfree," Prila said with unsatisfied grit, giving a message for VWX to resume his approaching movement to The Ace Duelist.
Viscable giggled and asked, "Oh you wanted to be my first opponent, Glasses Freak?"
"What you still think that I'm beneath you?" VWX was baffled, glancing at his girlfriend on the back, "Cangatha might be a better candidate, but please let me have a chance ot face you again."
"Layfree….babe don't do this?" Mina Rodax suggested with a despairful tone. "His dark power is too strong for you. Don't face him alone, I beg you!!"
"Prila already volunteered herself to face him, VWX. Reconsider your action please," Daigrun VII ordered his team member.
"Daigrun VII and you babe, don't worry he will not kill me," VWX assured, sniggering.
"It's also my chance to stop him from fully embracing the sinister power! Since he already helped me master my supposed curse in the past," VWX added, tapping his glasses and reflecting the sparkle.
"I will do the repay his debt by preventing him from becoming a bloodlust monster." VWX remarked.
"I understood you still kept you bizarre ambition to become the best, but as your friend, I couldn't let you fall into a darker path," VWX uttered firmly.
"So are you ready to receive the same harsh treatment in 10 years go?" The Ace Duelist added, bravely challenging VWX in another duel.
VWX shrugged it off and countered, "More like you'll be the one that going to be overwhelm by me."
"Let's settle this today, GDARK!!" VWX spoke loudly.
