Sonic the Hedgehog (Classic Sonic) is a young hedgehog who has loved adventure and traveling ever since he was born. He was gifted with supernatural speed, which some mages might consider magic, but this speed has been a part of him since birth. He knew this power could be dangerous, but he always remained positive. He thought that to control his power, he could join a guild, master magic, and perhaps even have a family.
He set himself a goal and began traveling in search of a mage guild. To start his journey, he had to cross the forest leading to the plains.
Sonic's POV
I sped into a forest with beautiful vegetation and many rivers, even though I slightly dislike water. As I continued running, I found a clearing and started feeling hungry.
"I think it's time to eat," I said as I stopped and unpacked my bundle.
I took out a chili dog I had prepared and began eating, but I had the feeling I wasn't alone. I started looking around, and the noise became clearer. I could hear monkey sounds, and the moment I realized what it was, two giant shadows appeared before me.
They were Forest Balkans!
I quickly packed up my bag as they appeared and got ready to fight, even though I knew I didn't stand a chance.
"Oh, look, a little hedgehog lost its way," the first monkey remarked.
"Perfect timing—it's snack time," the second one said, drooling.
"Sorry, but raw blue hedgehog isn't on the menu," I said, preparing a spindash.
I attacked in a way that they couldn't see me coming, but one of them swatted me away with just a flick of its hand, sending me flying into a tree.
I could barely move and felt like I was bleeding from my head. Just as one of them was about to put me in its mouth, a yellow light appeared and pulled me out of its grasp, then began attacking them at incredible speed. As I got back up, I managed to follow what was happening. It was a person enveloped in a bright yellow aura, propelling through the air and striking the monkeys.
I couldn't believe it, but they managed to take them down in seconds. The person landed in front of me and extended their hand to help me up.
"Are you okay?" the man asked me.
"Yeah, I think so," I replied, still a bit dazed.
"But who are you, and what are you doing here? It's dangerous to come into this forest alone," he said, surprised.
"Well, I was traveling and wanted to take a break here, but yeah, apparently, it is dangerous."
"Huh? But why are you traveling alone, anyway?"
"Well, I'm looking for a mage guild. I want to learn magic to defend myself better. And who are you, anyway?"
"Oh, sorry, I didn't introduce myself. My name is Mistgun. And you are?"
"Sonic, Sonic the Hedgehog."
"Well, Sonic, would you like to travel with me?" Mistgun asked, extending his hand.
"Of course! At least I won't be alone," I said excitedly, shaking his hand. "But I hope you know how to run."
"Huh? Why?" he asked, confused.
At that moment, I started running towards the edge of the forest, holding Mistgun by the arm. I headed for the plains while Mistgun was flung into the air because of the speed at which I was pulling him.
"Stop, you're going too fast!" he yelled in fear.
"Well, I thought you knew how to run," I replied, amused.
From that day on, Mistgun and I started traveling together.
