**Chapter 33: A Night of Secrets and Surprises**
By the time they got home, Wang Mei was already asleep on Bao's back. He gently laid her down to rest with the help of her maid, while Chen Xui and Princess Hua headed to their room, ready to unwind, Chen Xui eyes were filled with uncried tears as she walked into her room. But Wang Wei was still awake, sitting in his wheelchair at the door, waiting for Bao to come out. When Bao finally step out, Wang Wei's eyes spoke volumes; his temper was boiling. He signaled for Bao to wheel him to the library.
Once inside, Wang Wei wasted no time. "Why are you with Wang Mei? What happened?" he asked, his voice steady but laced with tension. Bao knelt before him, his heart racing. "I'm sorry, Master. I think I'm in love with Miss Mei," he confessed, his head bowed in respect.
Wang Wei's expression hardened. "I can't approve of your relationship. You are my guard; I can't allow you to marry my sister." With that, he wheeled himself back to his room, leaving Bao kneeling in disappointment. He had never imagined his master would oppose their love.
As Wang Wei entered his room, he found Princess Hua sleeping soundly, her mouth wide open, producing a loud snoring sound that echoed in the quiet night. *Snore, snore, snore.* Wang Wei climbed onto the bed and gently pressed his hand against her lips, hoping to silence the noise. But after a minute, the sound only grew louder. Frustrated, he tried to push her onto her side, but as he did, the silk covering her body slipped away, revealing that she was sleeping without clothes.
His anger flared, but he paused, taking a moment to look at her before waking her up. Instead of stirring, she instinctively pulled him closer. "Don't leave," she murmured, her grip surprisingly strong. "I love you." Wang Wei's heart melted for a moment, but he noticed she was sweating. He leaned down and blew cool air onto her face.
In her dreams, Princess Hua saw Li Chen, who held her tenderly. But suddenly, he withdrew his hand, causing her to plead, "Don't leave." Wang Wei, exhausted from blowing air on her all night, forgot to sleep on the bed, despite her being there without clothes.
