Chapter 43 - Chapter 43: A New Chapter

I woke up the next morning feeling like I was walking on air. Jack's words had echoed in my mind all night, and I couldn't stop smiling.

As I got out of bed, Jack stirred beside me. "Good morning," he said, his voice husky with sleep.

"Good morning," I replied, leaning over to kiss him.

We lay there for a moment, wrapped in each other's arms. Then Jack spoke up.

"What do you want to do today?" he asked.

I thought for a moment. "I don't know," I said. "What do you want to do?"

Jack grinned. "I was thinking we could go to the Eiffel Tower," he said. "We could take the stairs to the top and see the city."

I nodded, feeling a sense of excitement. "That sounds amazing," I said.

We got dressed and made our way to the Eiffel Tower. The line was long, but we didn't mind. We stood there, holding hands and talking, enjoying each other's company.

As we waited, Jack told me more about his childhood. He told me about his parents, his siblings, and his dreams. I listened, entranced, feeling like I was getting to know him on a deeper level.

Finally, we reached the front of the line and began our ascent up the stairs. The climb was grueling, but the view from the top was breathtaking.

As we stood there, looking out over the city, Jack turned to me with a serious expression.

"I want to spend the rest of my life making you happy," he said.

I felt a lump form in my throat as I looked at him. "I want that too," I said.

And with that, we sealed our fate, our hearts beating as one as we looked out over the city.

As we made our way back down the stairs, Jack turned to me with a smile.

"I have one more surprise for you," he said.

I raised an eyebrow. "What is it?" I asked.

Jack grinned. "You'll see," he said.

And with that, he took my hand and led me to a small café nearby. We sat down at a table, and Jack signaled to the waiter.

A few minutes later, the waiter returned with a small cake and a bottle of champagne.

"What's this?" I asked, looking at Jack in surprise.

Jack smiled. "I wanted to celebrate our new beginning," he said.

I felt a sense of joy and happiness as I looked at him. "I love you," I said.

And with that, we sealed our fate, our hearts beating as one as we embarked on this new chapter in our lives.

As we sat there, sipping champagne and eating cake, I knew that this was just the beginning of our journey together. And I couldn't wait to see what the future held.

We spent the rest of the day exploring the city, holding hands and laughing together. We visited the Louvre, the Arc de Triomphe, and the Champs-Élysées.

As the sun began to set, Jack turned to me with a smile.

"I have one more surprise for you," he said.

I raised an eyebrow. "What is it?" I asked.

Jack grinned. "You'll see," he said.

And with that, he took my hand and led me to a beautiful little restaurant overlooking the Seine.

We sat down at a table, and Jack ordered for us. We spent the rest of the evening eating and talking, enjoying each other's company.

As the night wore on, Jack turned to me with a serious expression.

"I love you," he said. "I want to spend the rest of my life with you."

I felt a lump form in my throat as I looked at him. "I love you too," I said.

And with that, we sealed our fate, our hearts beating as one as we embarked on this new chapter in our lives.

As we finished our meal and prepared to leave, Jack turned to me with a smile.

"I have one more surprise for you," he said.

I raised an eyebrow. "What is it?" I asked.

Jack grinned. "You'll see," he said.

And with that, he took my hand and led me out of the restaurant, into the bright lights of the city.

We walked hand in hand, enjoying the sights and sounds of the city. We eventually found ourselves at the riverbank, where a beautiful little boat was waiting for us.

"Where are we going?" I asked, looking at Jack in surprise.

Jack smiled. "You'll see," he said.

And with that, he took my hand and led me onto the boat. We set off into the night, the city lights twinkling around us.

As we glided across the water, Jack turned to me with a serious expression.
