"No!" I was going backwards as the chaos from the other side of the woods faded in my mind. It seemed that it was just me abd him blurring the world away. I could already feel him in my mind and everything that held my beliefs before crumbled before my very eyes. He was this intimidating man and something told me that he was worse than Jasper.. "Stay back, dont come any closer. I swear it I will remove your heart?"
He laughed, staring at me with this inquisitiveness. It felt like I intrigued him at some point and everything that was supposed to make me scared of this random stranger who is my mate. Another mate? I just want to go home. I cannot have another mate when I was pregnant for the previous one. I couldn't bring myself to love another, to give myself freely to another man. Not after the position my bloodline has fixed me on. I cannot begin to phantom what kind of danger I was in and I was already dragging another person with me?
