Unexpectantly, the place she found herself in did not resemble an actual cave. There were glowing mushrooms growing here and there, as well as moss growing down the damp walls and water dripping from the ceiling. But what made this not a cave was the ancient structures. The walls were slightly glowing with strips of blue lights that flickered ever so often. What looked like rusted old tables were found strewn about. Along with looked like ancient equipment of some kind. Technology was far beyond anything that Ivy had ever seen in her life. But with all these wonders staring her in the face, the thing that drew her attention was the object sitting on a pedestal in the middle of the room. A golden pokeball.

"Ouch..." Ivy slowly stood up but cringed at the feeling of pain in her hands. She looked down to see both of them were badly scrapped up and bleeding. She took a deep breath and bit her lip to try to forget about the pain. The object she had always wished for was right in front of her. She hoped that, at the moment,t she was not dreaming. She hoped her wishes were about to come true. To become a warrior, a Pokemon Master. She wanted to leave this small village where all she would be able to do was settle down and get married.

She did not wish for such a life and in front of her very eyes was the means to escape her fate. At least, this was what she hoped for as her feet carried her forward on their own. Her eyes locked on to the pokeball in front of her. Each step was like a step closer to salvation for her. Her mind was running away with images of her venturing into the unknown, killing and capturing pokemon while exploring the world. She wanted to become strong so that she would never have to suffer again due to a pokemon stampede.

Ivy's shaky hand hovered over the golden pokeball. Her eyes filled with anticipation as she slowly grassed the object into her hand. It was just that what happened next was beyond anything she would ever expect and would lead her on a path she had never even thought of.

The golden pokeball began to glow with a bright light as ancient runes began to form around it. The golden glow began to grow brighter and brighter before suddenly condensing into a single point. The pokeball that was in her hands had also condensed into a small ball of light. This ball of light hovered over the palms of her hand for a few seconds before shooting into her body. It was then that Ivy realized that what she had found was not just some mere pokeball. But some much greater.

Ivy's golden eyes glow with a tint of ghostly blue. Her head had been filled with information she had never known before. All of it was how to operate this strange new system. In front of her eyes was a screen of some kind. It was just showing an empty window of her current pokemon. Ivy wanted to figure this new system out since it seemed to be exactly what she had been wanting. A dream come true. If what this system said was to be true, then she could create pokeballs using her soul and capture pokemon with them. They would then be pulled into her Pokemon Soul Indexing System. It was basically her own version of the pokedex but had a built-in storage for all her pokemon."I can finally be free..."

Ivy placed her hands in front of her chest as she smiled. She really couldn't believe that she had been given this chance. This chance to change her life for ever. Ivy did not have long to celebrate her newfound ability when an all too familiar sound filled her ears. "Pika... Pika... Pikachu!!!!"

A bolt of lightning shot right at Ivy. Her eyes lit up with a ghostly color, overlay her vision. As she dodged the attack from the pikachu in front of her, information appeared in her vision.

[Name]: Pikachu

[Type] : Electric

[Sex]: Female

[HP]: 35

[Attack]: 55

[Defense]: 40

[Special Attack]: 50

[Special Defense]: 50

[Speed]: 90

[Can Capture: Sucess Rate 100%]

The thing that caught Ivy's eyes the most was the can capture at the end of the small window. Her eyes lit with excitement. A Pikachu would make a perfect first pokemon for her. She quickly waved her hand, making a ghostly-looking pokeball to appear within it. She did not even waste a single second as she dodged another lightning attack and threw the pokeball at the pikachu.

The pikachu sensed something was off but couldn't understand why its instincts were telling it to run. It could only see its prey dancing around the room, dodging the lighting that was being shot at it. By the time it realized something was hovering over its head, it was already too late. The pikachu ground its body, turning into a ray of ghostly light before suddenly shooting into this ghostly-looking ball. "Pikkkaaa!!!" The pikachu began to panic and wanted to escape, but it was already too late. It was sucked into the ghostly-looking ball. The ball shook a few times as the pikachu inside tried to escape, but it was over for it. The ghostly pokeball slowly settled down before floating over to Ivy. Ivy could only absentmindedly stare at the message in front of her.

"Pokemon: Pikachu, electric type has been captured. Please give it a name." Ivy mumbled to herself as she looked at the message. She thought long and hard for a whole twenty seconds before finally saying: "Ellee..." She could only keep thinking about the lightning that was being shot at her and the fact that a pikachu was an electric type pokemon. It seemed to be the best fit. But mainly, it was because Ivy was horrible at naming things.

[Pokemon: Pikachu's Name Registered As Ellee...]

"Now to summon her, I just need to say her name right?" Ivy held out her hand and mumbled softly: "Ellee."

A flash of light once more filled her eyes. She waited in anticipation as the light began to di,m but what stood before her eyes was no pikachu... But a young woman, around her age standing there with a black dress on with yellow trim. On her backside was a yellow lightning bolt-style tail, and upon her head were two little ears that blended well into her yellow hair that went down to her waist.

"Oi... Didn't anyone ever tell you its rude to stare, Master?"
