Chapter 1 - Lectures

Shraden found an empty seat at the back of the class which was now crowded with students. He had arrived late at Mr Dublin's class again. He had missed a lot of practicals that week and was scared of having a few more carry overs. The thought of this sent shivers down his spine.

This was his final year of studying necromancy and any failure would render him being untalented and that would mean him starting all over again. He did not have the money to start his schooling again. He was nothing but a poor orphan. He managed to be here by the grace of his grandparents . They had used up their last savings on his education and he had tried his best to help himself but nothing was working out.

Teller Necromancy College was were he schooled and he was a failure. His success would only be guaranteed by a severe miracle .

"So like I told you all..." Mr Dublin stated and paused to look at Shraden who was still struggling to sit . He had been the teacher of this set of students for three years and for some reason best known to Shraden , he had missed more than sixty percent of his class. How did this kid expect to pass and what the fuck did he do with his time to always come late to school ?

"Where have been you been Shraden? " Mr Dublin a man with white long hair asked. Shraden's golden hair waved in the air as fear eluded him. He did not know what to say. What would he say ? He had no reason or did he really not have ? Gosh! He was a real mess .

"Why are you not responding ?" Mr Dublin asked intimidatingly . Shraden's eyes faced Mr Dublin's and it danced for a moment before Shraden took them away.

"The little rat does not have a reason. Now you listen to me. I do not want to look for you again in my class. If I ever do , you will regret my actions." Mr Dublin stated cruelly. Shraden shrugged behind himself.

"Now back to what I was saying . You cab see from the practical that ossification is not as hard as you think. There other forms of ossification aside from the Bone Ossification. We have the Telectial Ossification , Blood Ossification and Soul Ossification. " Mr Dublin lectured . A slim guy with red hair raised a hand for a question.

"Yes dear, what is your question ?" Mr Dublin asked.

" Sir , does this mean that one could turn a thing to blood by mass ?" he asked . Mr Dublin smiled at him.

"No. The Blood Ossification will be thought on a different day but I assure you that it is not what you think it is . It is something better." Mr Dublin assured.

Shraden opened his book and began noting down the few he had heard. His book was close to empty because he hardly ever noted. He only noted important things like the types of Ossification.

"Okay class. I will be going. " he said and turned sharply to look at Shraden. Shraden looked away in intimidation. Mr Dublin left quickly for another class.

The break bell rung deeply in the college and everyone began moving up and down. Shraden left his seat and approached a guy with dark red hair. He was Shraden's friend, Jerry. He was doing well in his studies with a C rank necromancy state .

He was with Kin , an easy going guy with green hair nearly 6 meters tall and he was the strongest of their little group but was yet humble. He was a B rank necromancy state and what was Shraden? Shraden due to his apathy to activities was nothing but a D rank mini necromancy state.

The ranks of necromancy was divided into four. The Mini Necromancy State which consisted of D ranks only. They were virtually the weakest of necromancers .

The next was the Necromancy State. It consisted of C ranks and B ranks. The were classified as normal necromancers.

The next was the Gods Necromancy State. It consisted of the A ranks and S ranks . These class was rare but it was not as rare as the Supreme Necromancy State.

In the history of necromancy, only twenty people had been able to wield necromancy to that limit.

"Shraden, you better work with time. Mr Dublin is not going to spare you if you continue this way. " Kin said. Jerry smirked . Shraden only smiled at Kin . He knew thar all too well.

"Okay guys , I am off." Jerry stated as he hurriedly left them. Shraden watched him run along until he met a plump girl with short blonde hair which hung smoothly across her shoulders. Shr had a provocative way of dressing and her beauty was so unnatural.

"What's with this girl.?" Shraden said. Shraden had seriously not seen anything special in her . He felt that Jerry was unnecessarily giving this girl, Regina too much attention. Besides she flirted with the necromancy boys and Jerry was nothing buther footstep .

"I think the poor the boy is in love." Kin said with a grin.

"This is not love, this is stupidity. It is insanity." Shraden cursed under his breath.

"Come on, you do not be so jealous. You will have yours certainly ." Kin said.

"I'm not jealous. I am just concerned. " Shraden said.

"Were are we headed? Kin asked after dismissing the argument. "I want to have lunch now." he added.

"I intend to see my guide."

"What a boring suggestion. That's why you will never find your lover." Kin smirked. Shraden shrugged and left Kin behind to leave to Mrs Claire's chambers.

He got to her chambers. He had a question that had been bordering him for a while. He had a terrible dream and he needed an explanation. She was the only one who do that for him .

"Good day Mrs Claire. " Shraden greeted as he approached her in her chambers. She smiled at him. She was an elegant woman of about thirty years with yellow long hair. He had a bad story for her but she will have to explain something to him.
