Chapter 12 - Just Do It

"Do what?" I asked, I had no clue of what she was saying.

"Don't fuck with me! Who was she? Who's the whore that you've been banging behind my back."

The question left me bewildered as I challenged her. "She's none of your business. Why are you here?"

"How could you cheat on me, Levi? Why? After all, I've..."

I stopped her from completing her sentence. "Listen to me. Yes, I cheated on you and it felt really good. Last night was the best night of my life and if you don't mind. I'm breaking up with you."

"Traitorous bastards! I hate you. You and I have unfinished business. That whore will pay for what she did to my face." Mekella said, touching the bruises on her face.

Mekella spat on my floor before walking out of my house; I wanted to chase her off and give her a couple of slaps, but seeing how roughed up she was, I decided to leave her alone.

Susan was definitely behind this, I'm just glad she didn't kill her. As soon as Mekella left, I locked the door of my living room and

went back to my bedroom.

Sitting comfortably in his leather Italian chair, The Master discusses privately with Dimitri, Dr. David, and two other men about a certain problem regarding a particular man, and from the way the discussion was going, The Master was really in a foul mood.

"That fool from the north dared to betray us, he even threatened the organization and then spit on us."

"I told you that we couldn't trust him, now look at what has happened. I bet he's doing this because of the loss of his friend Captain Fati." Dimitri said.

"He's been giving us the slip. We need to send him a strong message for him to realize who he's dealing with." Dr. David suggested in between sips from his glass of whiskey.

"Why don't we just kill him? He can't be trusted now. He could become a problem for the organization later."

"I agree with Dimitri." The Master's voice came. Frazier cannot be trusted anymore. He needs to be erased. Considering how far we've come with our plans, we cannot tolerate any slip-ups or loose ends."

The doctor let out a huge sigh before continuing "(sighs) You're right. So who are we going to send to take care of Mr Frazier?" He asked.

Before anyone could answer that question, the door instantly swung wide open, and one of Dimitri's men flew into the room, crashing down heavily on the center of the meeting table. Shortly after that, Susan appears in the room with cunning laughter, making a dry joke.

"Sorry, everyone... I was just looking for a certain individual that came flying through here. Did anyone manage to see him? He hasn't paid for his flight tickets." She laughed at her joke.

Infuriated by the rude interruption, Dimitri lashes out at Susan angrily, but he is quickly silenced by the young lady after coming face to face with a loaded revolver pointed between his eyes.

"Are you mad? Don't forget this is a private meeting."

"Shut up you old fart! Unless that is, you want me to fill your skull

with lead." She said grinning wildly.

"Put the gun, Queen." Dr. David rushed to calm Susan.

"Should I?" She asked rhetorically. "Well, he has to apologize."

"I will do no such thing," Dimitri said, maintaining eye contact with Susan.

"Okay. Here goes."

*BANG*

With quick aim and accuracy, Susan pulls the trigger and shoots the right foot of Dimitri. The others watched calmly as the man rolled on the ground clutching onto his foot painfully.

"Argh, my leg," Dimitri grunted painfully.

"You're lucky that I didn't pierce your brain... Now, apologize before I shoot the other foot." Susan said before adding a compliment. "Nice shoes by the way."

"As if I would..." Dimitri said, acting strong-headed.

"Dimitri..." The Master called out his name.

"Sir?"

"There's no need for this useless bloodshed. Apologize to her."

"What! But she's..." Dimitri lamented.

"Just do it. Unless that is if you want to be sitting on wheelchairs for several months."

"Ummm... Alright... I'm sorry."

Susan begins laughing "What was that? I didn't hear you."

"I said... Ummm... I'm sorry." Dimitri said with his head facing down. He had never received such humiliation in his life before now.

"Apology accepted... That wasn't so hard now, was it?"

Dr. David called out. "Guards, take Mr. Dimitri to the medical center. He's losing blood."

After Dimitri is carried away by his men, Susan plants herself on his seat and stretches her legs on the table.

"That's enough young lady. Hand over that gun. You've made quite a mess." Dr. David said as he outstretched his hand for the revolver.

"Uh-uh... This revolver is mine." Susan said pouting her lips like a child.

"Queen, what's itching you now? I know you didn't interrupt this meeting for nothing. What is it you want?" The Master asked.

Susan waited for some time while swirling the revolver in her hand around. "Let's see... Freedom."

"Freedom?" The Doctor was surprised by Susan's request.

The Master was also shocked. He couldn't help but ask. "Freedom! You want to leave this place?"

"No... I don't want to leave this place. I like it here."

"Then explain yourself." The Master said.

"I've been here since when I was a kid and I only get to go out when I go on missions. So what I want is the freedom to go out whenever I want. No restrictions, no limits."

"Is that it?"

"Sure. That's it." Susan said happily.

"Hmm..." Were the only words the Master could say.

"Please, Daddy. Don't deny this for me."

"Alright. I will grant you your wish once you've completed this assignment."

On hearing the Masters response Susan grew restless with anticipation. "What assignment?"

"You'll be going to the North to exterminate a particular individual. His name is Frazier Kumar. He's a wealthy business tycoon that controls nearly half of the business firms in the state."

"And? Susan said interrupting The Master.

"What and?"

"There's always an 'and'."

"You know me that well huh?..." The Master said as he smiled at the comedy he and Susan just played. "Well, there's an 'and'... The man is related to one of the richest families in the North, the Malin House.

"Ehn! So he swims in money? Well, he'll be swimming in his blood soon enough. When should I get started?" Susan asked.

"Tomorrow. I want the target dead within 48 hours. Don't disappoint."

"Relax, Daddy. When have I ever disappointed you?" Susan Laughed "A headshot or a bullet to the chest?"

"A headshot would be nice." The Master said.

"You know just what to say to a lady (laughs). See you when I get back. Bye-bye." Susan said as she took her leave.

"That pet of ours is getting quite excited as of late. What do you think?" Dr. David said as soon as Susan was out of earshot.

"I've noticed that too but I don't think it's a problem."

"So once Frazier is eliminated. What then?"

"We initiate Project Hydra." The Master said smiling mischievously.
