In the Cristonian Empire,a draw was made to choose fore the crown prince a bride.The draw contained every high ranking woman's name,from the barren's daughter to the archduke's child,and within that draw was a certain lady's name,Ceara Levery,a stubborn and mischievous young lady of the Levery manor.Though her siblings had got married,she was still in the batchlor category therefore her name too was placed in the draw and lucky enough her name was picked among the thirty as bride candidates.
In her room,Ceara, her parents,her 3 brothers and her sister all stared at her as her maid red aloud the invitation that the imperial family had sent for her.Ceara burrowed her face In her pillow was the maid finished the letter.Once the maid had finished the reading,her father shot up
"Ceara your going to attend the tea party"
"But why would any person in their right mind choose me father,I don't want to go"
"Ceara everyone in town keeps talking about the Levery daughter that can't get a husband, can't you give your father a break?at least if you attended the tea party, maybe the other higharky men would think that your beautiful."her mother said sternly.
"Ok then it's final get ready the party's tomorrow so better pick out a gown"her father calmly stated as he rose with his wife and left.Her brothers soon left the room leaving her and her maid(Patricia)to their own company
"Patricia,do I have any pants in my closet?"
"Unfortunately no ma'am the young master sir Peter threw them out"
"Ok the go through his closet and get me something to wear for tomorrow "
"Yes ma'am ,I'll get to it"
"That price will regret ever drafting my name"
Meanwhile in the imperial palace the crown prince was seated on his bed as first aid was given to his open wounds that oozed blood that was thicker and redder than normal blood.His assistant a young cunning lad known as David watched as he held a tray of pain killers ment for the prince.Although the price wore a plain expression on his face,deep down he felt pain from the bruses that he wore on his body. Once the doctor had finished sterilizing the wounds and bandaging them he left.
"My pills"Nathaniel blankly stated
"Here you go your majesty" David stated as he passed the tin to Nathaniel
"Thank you"
"But...may I speak freely with you master?"
"Yes,what is bothering you"
"What caused you to suffer a curse like this,I mean you bare a cuse that will eventually end y.."
"Enough David,the curse is generational ok? I request you don't bring this up again,am I understood?"
"Yes master"
"Now,I hope everything is prepared for tomorrow's function?"
"It's the her majesty the empress who's organizing it"
"Oh,then it's best that I Prepair for suprisses tomorrow "
"It's in your best interest if you do "
"Ok leave,I want to rest"
And with that David left leaving Nathaniel to retire for the night .
At dawn,both the palace and the Levery manor were in chaos as they both prepared for the lunch party.
Ceara was dressed in a stunning coral blue dress with engraved blue diamonds,ocean blue boots that climbed to her knee and a simple emerald necklace on her neck,but beneath all the dress that she wore,a stunning white suit that she had stollen was underneath that complimented all the accessories she wore.And like that she left the manor with her brothers and father. At the palace,the Levenys exited their carriages,and elegantly walked to the palace doors not noticing the three princes, Nathaniel,Neal and Norman Willstones.the three young men gossiped about the women that entered the palace and based their parents wealth on the way they dressed and the couriages but when it came to Cear,the boys baffled by her beauty
"What why aren't you talking,what is her beauty so baffling that you all shut up"Nathaniel asked with a wine glass in hand
"What no!she looks plump I mean look at her waist it's like she has no shape!"Norman yelled
"I won't lie,I'd like a taste of that lady"Neal said as he looked away from the window
As the boys were chatting about Ceara,their conversation was put to a halt by the announcement of their father and mother's arrival. Neal and Norman,in a hurry,put away their wine glasses away but Nathaniel kept on drinking.When the Emperor and empress entered the room,all the servants left the room.
"Good morning boys"the empress stated
"Good morning mother"they all stated
"Well I hope your all fine,but I need Nathaniel,you are going to choose a wife from the crowd we have collected so stop drinking have some mint and follow us
"Ok coming " said Nathaniel as he got up and followed them.
In the grand hall all the guests were enjoying the reception.Ceara on the other hand was looking for a way to remove the dress she wore. Not paying attention to the current happenings,Ceara decided to tear her dress. She reached for a corner of her dress and ripped it,all the way to the waist.Little did she know that the imperial family at that time was welcoming it's guests and addressing them accordingly and the sowd of her dress ripping was loud enough to attract the attention of the imperial family and silence the empress.Her father and brothers,all inraged and embarrassed went to get Ceara but before they could reach her,she continued to tear her dress till it was on the ground in shreds and the suit that was small enough to catch all her curves thus attracting Nathaniel's attention.
Peter grabber and pulled her aside
"What are you doing"Peter said agitatedly
"I told you I didn't want to come,what did you expect me to do "Ceara yelled at her brother not noticing that Nathaniel had approached them
"Um well hello chaos"he said with a sly smirk
"Well and who might you be,calling me chaos. Do I look like a hurricane to you or are you both brain dead and dumb "Ceara barked
"For a lady you have quite the language " the price said calmly
"Thank you for the compliment but I'd prefer if you'd return to whichever rundown family you belong to "
"As you wish,my love "
Nathaniel turned and walked towards his parents a smile on his face as Ceara watched him with distain on her face waiting to see the family he came from and she fell in choke when she saw hi stand besides the Emperor
