lilian stood at the center of the training room,her eyes fixed on micheal who was still suprised that there was a space like this under her house."alright today were going to work on some basic punching techniques ,"she said,her voice firm but encouraging.
Micheal nodded ,his eyes wide with excitement he imagined the day he would stand toe to toe with the gods and even surpass them but he knew deep down he still had a lot of training to do and learning.
lilian demonstrated a few different punches ,showing micheal how to throw jabs, hooks, crosses micheal watched intently,taking mental notes which just served as an encouragement for lilian driving her to perform more with fervor.
"Okay,now its your turn,"lilian said gesturing to the punching bag in the corner of the room ."i want you to practice throwing some punches ,remembwer to keep your hands up and your feet shoulder width apart,micheal nodded taking in a deep breath. he approached the punching bag which was the weight of 10 cars ,his fists clenched.he threw a few tentative punches ,feeling a bit akward.
lilian watched him ,her eyes critical .good effort ,young master,"she said, but you need to work on your form.keep your hands up and your elbows close to your body.and remember to twist your hips when you throw a punch thats were your strenght comes from. as he practiced lilian walked around him correcting him were wrong and offering words of encouragement,"you are getting the hang of it master,i think you should take a break.
micheal nodded, taking a break from punching the bag he sat while lilian brought him some refreshment he ate and took a little nap by the time he woke up lilian was already ready to continue his training ,i think we should move to the next thing ,lilian showed him how to block a punch ,using his arms to deflect the blow .micheal practiced blocking, feeling a bit clumsy at first.
But with lilian guidance ,he quickly improved. she showed him how to use his feet to create distance ,how to use his feet to create distance ,how to use his arms to block and parry and how to use his hips to generate power.
As the lesson came to a close lilian smiled at micheal"you are doing great ,"she said ,its just a matter of more practice and you would surpass even me, micheal grinned feeling a sense of pride and accomplishment. he had learnt a lot today, and he was eager to put his new skills to the test as he left the training room ,lilian called out to him "hey ,master?
he tuned"yeah?.remember to train .ill remember he said and he walked out afterall he had to submit in his mission that he completed back to the headquaters.
as he left lilian smiled feeling a sense of pride,micheal was a quick learner and she had no doubt that he was going to easily surpass her in the nearest future even though she was a prodigy herself infact some would refer to her as a monster but micheal was a monster among monsters..
