The forest was scaringly silent today, as snow walked forward the twigs down her leg broke filling the silence of the forest. She loved the silence but today she was scared of this silence but still walked forward as she have to gather some herbs for making medicines.
Snow, a village girl living between the forest surrounded by animals.
As she walked forward, a low, guttural growl echoed through the trees, sending a chill down her spine. She froze.
It was not the sound of the animal she knew. As she walked forward towards the direction of the sound, it grew louder. Snow wanted to run but curiosity kills a cat and she walked forward towards the direction of noise.
Then, from the shadows between the trees, a figure appeared—a massive, dark shape stumbling through the underbrush. Lira's heart skipped a beat. Her instincts screamed to run, but something in the beast's eyes made her pause.
It's Amber golden eyes shining in the light, his black fur as dark as the moonless night were coated with blood and the beast was wailing with the pain.
Snow Pov:-
I was scared as I listened to the noise thinking it might be dangerous but the wailing made me want to look and help. Thank God i decided to come or else this pitiful beast would have died.
Snow lift the beast and carry him with her while the beast loses his consciousness due to the intense pain.
"It looks like someone must have attacked him! Maybe a wild beast" snow murmured to herself and reached to her small cottage.
The cottage was not very large with a living room surrounded by various medicine in the left there was a small kitchen and a dining while in the right there was her bedroom. The cottage was warm and cozy unlike the cold and windy weather outside.
Snow made the beast lie in the sofa and stopped his bleeding and applied some antiseptic. After that she dresses his wounds and made him sleep in her couch.
"Oh no!! I was there to bring some herbs and now I will have to go again there!" Saying this she went to the forest after locking her cottage outside and went back to bring some herbs.
Unbenowst to her, that her life have now taken a different turn by saving this furry beast.
