As the darkness dawned upon the sky, the inevitable fate of the survivors was almost certain in their brains as the echoing howls could be heard more clearly and loudly as if they were approaching nearby the crash site. They heard the now nearby howls advancing closer and closer with every passing second. The survivors at the crash site felt chills down their spines, fear about what would come out of the darkness and fog that emerged near the wrecked plane. They saw something in the mist, something that would make them shiver down their cores and scare the living souls out of their bodies, for they felt their death approaching sooner than they could have ever dreamt of. What was it that they saw? What were the 'shadows' that made their spines shiver? Was it a ghost? Was it a demon? Or was it something much more bloodthirsty?
Gayo:
(with fear and anxiety)
"I see something in the shadows; they look like WOLFS!"
The very second that Gayo stated these words, every survivor present at the crash site started to fear for their lives. As the wolves advanced toward their 'prey,' the survivor's minds went blank as a plane sheet of white paper the only thing they could think of was their doom! But amongst all the chaos unfolding in front, Kaboto seemed unhinged it looked as if he didn't care how close he was to his death he was the only one to show signs of calmness among the others. Maybe it was because he wanted to show the others that it is best to stay calm in a situation as such, or perhaps he just wasn't afraid of the dangers upfront. Still, regardless of his reactions, it didn't change the situation at that very moment even in the slightest as the wolves got closer they were more visible now, and the colour of their fur was a visible and distinctive green. But wolves do not have fur of that colour, so how come these be of this colour? The green fur on their four-legged bodies wasn't the only thing off about them; their eyes were shining red, almost as if the thirst for blood had made them more sinister!
Gomo Hama:
(scared out of his life, he tries to scream but his voice doesn't get much louder than an audible whisper)
"RUN!!"
Kaboto:
(whispers)
"Are you insane? Run or shout; try either, and you are gonna be dead, you can't outrun wolves, and if you scream, you are likely going to scare them, forcing them to attack us so stay shut!"
Gomo Hama:
(frightened)
"Then how do you plot on us to get out of this place in one piece?"
Kaboto:
(whispers)
"Don't move until they leave, if they leave, then we head back to the building, but if they jump us, we need to fight back to protect ourselves!"
Naru Hama:
(scared and whispering)
"Are you insane? That's a death trap we will die if we do that!"
Kaboto:
"Either we die or we KILL"
With his statement, it felt as if Kaboto had announced a war against the deadly apex predators that stood before them, but the opposition showed no signs of backing off from the war that was about to unfold. As the wolves were about to jump on the survivors, a loud scream was heard close by. It sounded more like a human than an animal thirsty for blood and hungry for meat. It was unclear where the sound was coming from, but then they heard a similar sound this time, it sounded more like a woman and this time, it was much clearer where the sound was from and even who it belonged to! This loud shout was coming from behind the survivors present at the crash site, and I belonged to none other than-
Gayo:
(confused yet scared at the same time)
"JIN? How come you sound like a woman?"
Jin:
(frustrated)
"IT WASN'T ME YOU IDIOT!"
Kitagawa:
(walks forward from behind Jin and smirks)
"Perhaps you forgot how I sound!"
It came as a surprise to them, but all of the others who were at the building were now there at the crash site, ready to fight to the death to save each other, although they hadn't even known each other for even a single a day yet they still felt the need to protect each and fight to the death together. The others got there because they understood the meaning of the words "howls in the dark," stated by Shinji and the women also came back from their exploration just in time to help out the others and when they started to rush towards the crash site, Jin started to shout and shortly after Kitagawa also caught on to Jin's scheming. Jin was trying to distract the wolves by shouting from far away which worked as they were able to distract them for long enough for the rest of the survivors to reach the others at the crash site. But not everyone was willing to fight, Yuri refused to shed blood even if it meant she would die she told everyone that she couldn't ever bear to see anyone in pain, Yin was just afraid to fight but she still wanted to do so in order to support Jin and at last Karuno didn't want to fight because he was too scared to do so as he had never been a part of a fight not even against children yet he still picked up a stick off the ground to protect his 'brothers'.
Kaboto:
(enthusiastically)
"This'll be fun!"
Omi:
(grins)
"No denying this is kinda exciting, finally a worth-it fight!"
Zohan:
(shouts a little)
"EVERYONE! DON'T YOU DARE DIE!"
And with that, the survivors, big or small, all of them charged toward the wolves to either kill or die! They used whatever they could make or find in that sudden event; it included a baseball bat that Omi's team was carrying, rocks, wooden staffs, bamboo and bare hands. However, one person, Yuri, started to cry and then went inside the wrecked plane as she was too afraid to look at the fight that was taking place outside, She decided to use her brain for once and tried to be useful to the others by trying to find some valuable resource if any remained, she did find the loot that Kaboto and the others dropped before their encounter with the green wolves. With every step that she took, the only things she could observe were dead bodies and blood, lots and lots of blood she even saw a guy's dead body, which had his eye coming off his eye socket and his entire lower jaw hanging to a piece of skin from his cheek, this terrified Yuri down to her very soul as she busted into tears out of horror.
Yuri:
(crying very hard barely able to speak but trying to yell regardless)
"I HATE THIS ISLAND SO MUCH!"
Due to the plane being filled with dead bodies, Yuri's progress in trying to find resources became even slower. After the fight went on for what felt like hours, Yuri saw that the sun was almost about to rise, yet the fight and her cries hadn't stopped even for a minute. Finally, as Yuri collected all of the valuables she could lay her hands on inside the plane, she decided to check the last row of the plane just to make sure for the last time, but as she did so, she saw a toddler of about the age of 3 on her mother's lap dead with her skull busted and her brain clearly visible.
Yuri
(screams while crying loud)
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! NOT A CHILD!! NO GOD NO WHY PUNISH SUCH A HELPLESS LITTLE CHILD?!"
Her cries were clearly audible even to the ones outside, so the moment a wolf heard her voice, it came inside the plane to hunt her. Yuri, now terrified, turned her back on the wolf and tried to rush outside of the plane so that maybe someone could protect her, but as she did so, the wolf jumped on her, trying to kill and eat her. As the wolf was in the air, at the very last second, one of the pilot twins, Gomo Hama, kicked the wolf to the side, making it fall down for a second trying to protect Yuri.
Gomo Hama:
(getting cocky)
"Ain't no one is dying on my watch!"
Yuri:
(happy to see him but still in tears)
"Gomo Hama, you are a hero you saved my life!"
A hero indeed when a person jumps in to save someone else's life without caring about their own; they are called heroes. These heroes become glorified in tales after they survive because every hero is supposed to be on top and alive in order for those tales to progress forward. But in real life, the ones stupid enough to give up their own lives for someone else are only remembered for a couple of days before getting lost somewhere in the history books, as their Fate is almost always DEATH!
Yuri:
(yells while crying trying to alarm Gomo Hama)
"GOMO HAMA WATCH OUT!"
The wolf then switched targets from Yuri to Gomo Hama. The wolf jumped on him and slashed his neck with its claws and started to rip his neck open in order to kill him with its claws, but as the wolf was unable to kill him like that, it tore Gomo Hama's abdominal skin to feed on his intestines all while Gomo Hama was alive and screaming in pain and agony.
Gomo Hama:
(screaming for help while in unbearable pain, his voice shaking in agony)
"P-Please! PLEASE, I can't... I can't...! It hurts—oh god, it hurts so much! HELP ME! I'm begging you! Don't let me die like this—please, PLEASE! I'm begging you... don't leave me here, don't—I can't breathe!"
As all this was unfolding in front of Yuri, she couldn't help but cry endlessly as she saw her new friend and hero being torn apart by a wolf right in front of her very eyes. She froze in one place, unable to perform any action except for crying. The wolf looked at Yuri and smiled almost as if it was mocking her for being so pathetic! The wolf looked back at the crying Gomo Hama and ripped his lower jaw off so that it could cut off all the noise of his cries, then it tore Gomo Hama's entire belly and started to munch on his intestines. During all of this insanity, Gomo Hama was still alive, trying to escape from the hunger of this beast, but was unsuccessful. As the first shining ray of the sun hit his face, Gomo Hama closed his eyes and went into an eternal slumber, never to wake up ever again!

The wolf was still feeding on the dead corpse of the pilot, but then, as all the other wolves ran off into the forest as the sun rose, the rest of the survivors came inside the plane and saw this tragedy. Kaboto sneaked in on the wolf from behind and crushed its head with a giant rock, killing it!
Jin;
(yells)
"DID YOU JUST STAND THERE AND WATCH?!?!"
Yin:
(sobbing)
"I am s-sorry… I-I-I couldn't m-move….and it was m-m-m-mocking me!"
Naru Hama:
(starts to tear up)
"MY BROTHER! YOU KILLED MY BROTHER!"
Gayo:
(trying to defend his beloved idiot)
"She isn't responsible for this!"
Yuri:
(still crying, refuses Gayo's words)
"I am, I really am! I-I should have do-done something!"
Kaboto:
(tries to comfort Yuri)
"It was clear from the start that you ain't the fighting type!"
Gayo:
(hugs Yuri)
"Baby you were just scared we all get scared!"
Omi:
(angry and frustrated)
"Are you damn idiots really that stupid?! That useless piece of shit did nothing and let a guy die when she could have helped him live and you two are supporting her?!"
Karuno
(tries to grab everyone's attention)
"I think we should stop arguing and console someone else!"
Jin:
(tries to console Naru Hama without any knowledge about what to say or do)
"Naru Hama, your brother was truly a hero!"
Yin:
(copies Jin but also doesn't really know what to say or do)
"Yes, he is responsible for saving someone's life!"
Naru Hama
(angry and still crying, picks up a sharp debris)
"And that person should not be alive no more!"
Gayo:
(warns)
"You try to touch her, and you'll be the one that'll die!"
Kaboto:
(grins)
"Heck yeah fight both of you!"
Naru Hama:
(gets a little afraid of Gayo as he is much bigger than him)
"Fine, if I can't avenge my brother, I will join him! Since the day we were born, we promised each other that we'd always stand up for each other. I was the younger one of the two, so our mother told Gomo to always protect me no matter the cost, and he did, he protected me to his very last breath, and since I couldn't ever get a chance to protect him, I promised myself that I'll always follow his trails and become just like him that's the reason I became a pilot alongside him. All I ever wanted to do was follow my brother's path….. but now"
Shinji:
(tries to console Naru Hama while getting closer to him in order to stop him)
"Naru Hama I know what you are about to do so why don't you drop that sharp thing first and then we can talk about all this and settle it!"
Naru Hama:
(slits his throat open with a really deep cut barely able to speak before falling to the ground)
"NOW THAT HE IS GONE THE PATH ENDS!"
Sato:
(panics, tries to press Naru Hama's throat a little in order to minimize the blood loss)
"YOU IDIOT!"
Yuri:
(still crying)
"I am a murderer!"
Yin:
(scared)
"What the hell just happened?!"
Everyone was shocked by Naru Hama's actions; no one had expected this to happen. They all tried to say Naru Hama, but then Sato announced-
Sato:
(sigh of grief)
"This is no use; the cut is too deep and….he has stopped breathing!"
Kitagawa:
(shocked, trying to keep her calm but unable to do so)
"This island will kill us all!"
