A large landscape accompanied by sea of darkness with an atmosphere that screams doom and gloom. In this vast darkness a shadowy figure could be seen wandering aimlessly. The figure then abruptly stops it then turns around almost as if its attention has been grabbed by something and at that very moment a bright light emerges from the darkness.
The figure begins proceeding towards the light in a slow motion. Upon arriving at the light the figure heads in and inside a four legged object with a rounded top could be seen, it was a table but from the looks of it, it didn't seem like an ordinary table the table had a strange symbol in the center which made it appear as though it held some sort of importance.
At least that is what the figure could assess from all of this. The figure then continued on edging closer and closer to the table, as it did so more and more mysterious aspects would reveal themselves. A strange energy enveloped the table and for some reason the figure found this energy soothing, the energy began surrounding the figure and for a moment the figure caught glimpses of other figures surrounded by the same energy gathered at the table.
The figure then reached the table and gazed at the surrounding figures but suddenly the figures disappeared as swiftly as they appeared leaving empty chairs in their wake. The energy surrounding the figure promptly disappears as well and the figure stands still at this confusing revelation. The figure slowly turns around only to be greeted with the collision of an unknown object.
"AAAAHHHH!!!"
In the next moment a boy could be heard screaming at the top of his lungs. Following the screams of the boy two larger people abruptly entered the room.
"DANNY! Danny are you okay?"
The young boy named Danny remained in a dazed state, but slowly he began grasping his surroundings, he then turned to the two larger people standing in front of him.
"Mom? Dad?"
Realizing that he was in a familiar place Danny began sobbing in relief and promptly went to hug his parents. His parents then tightly embrace him.
"Another Nightmare huh? Well don't worry now alright, I'm here for you so you're safe now okay."
"Okay."
They then let each other go and Danny's mother quickly wiped away his tears while his father kissed him on the forehead. His parents then went into the other room, Danny just sat in his bed for a while pondering his dream before finally getting up and heading in another room.
Danny sat down on a nearby chair and his mother came to him with a plate in her hand, she gently laid down the plate in front of him with a warm smile on her face. Danny felt a sense of ease come over him, he then looked at the plate and began eating the food that was placed there. After eating Danny's mood shifted greatly and he became a bit more cheerful.
With his mood better Danny decided to head outside so he quickly got off the chair and hurried towards the door but before he could step outside the door his mother quickly called him.
"Danny where are you going?"
"I'm just heading to the usual spot mom."
"I'm guessing you're going there alone, Danny you should really spend less time at that place so you can make some friends."
"But mom I don't like talking to the other kids, they're always mean to me."
At that moment Danny's father came into the kitchen and interrupted the conversation.
"Come on honey just let Danny go, I mean even if he's alone as long as he's enjoying himself that's all that matters."
Danny's father then gave a hand gesture towards Danny signaling him to go, wasting no time Danny took the chance and quickly rushed out of the house. He started walking on a path filled with many people going about their business, and with a smile on his face he skipped across the entire area.
Danny eventually walked into an area filled with children. The children playing stopped their activities as soon as they spotted Danny walking, they then approached him with mockery in their voices.
"Loser, loser. It's the useless loser" the children sang. Their continued mockery eventually drove Danny to tears, at that moment he ran away crying, he didn't get very far before stumbling to the ground giving the other children more grounds to laugh. He quickly picked himself up and continued running.
Danny ran and ran until he slowly began slowly down, at this point his face was covered by tears. Danny continued walking sadly until he arrived at a large fence surrounding a beautiful field with a diversity of plants and flowers, amidst this scenery lied a moderately sized house.
Upon seeing the house Danny's mood began fluctuating once more. He decided to quickly wipe his eyes and nose with the shirt he was wearing before going to the house. Putting on a false smile he knocked on the door, silence broke out for a few seconds before the door was opened.
An elderly woman appeared out of the house and upon seeing Danny a smile grew on her face.
"Good morning miss Cynthia, how are you?"
"Ah Danny my sweet little boy it's so good to see you. Come in my boy."
Danny then follow the old lady inside and knowing where to go he headed to the common room and sat down on the sofa present. Cynthia sat down across Danny and immediately engaged in conversation
"So Danny what brings you here today."
"Well I heard that this month is the harvest month so I wanted to come see the flowers before you harvested them."
"Such an eager boy I'm sure you're always talking to your friends about flowers aren't you?"
At that moment Danny's facial expression quickly changed but he quickly forced a smile, noticing this Cynthia decided to enquire.
"What's wrong dear you look sad."
"I have no friends, it's because all the other kids are always bullying me because I can't use magic."
"Oh no I'm so sorry dear I didn't mean to make you feel bad."
"It's okay miss Cynthia you didn't know."
"You know I think I know what will make you feel better."
Cynthia quickly gets up and leaves the room for a few minutes and returns with a watering can in her hand, she then hands the can to Danny and signals him to follow her as she heads outside. When they head out Cynthia continues leading Danny through the fields until they reach the furthest end.
"You can help me water these adorable babies."
As Danny looks around he sees a smaller field filled with unbloomed roses stretching across. With a smile on his face he approached the roses.
"Miss Cynthia I didn't know you grew roses."
"Oh this is just a little side project I'm working on but they are adorable aren't they?"
"They are, but when are they gonna bloom?"
"Oh it should be in a few days, I'll be sure to call you when they do. Well then I'll be heading back call me when you're done."
"Okay."
Cynthia then promptly left leaving Danny at the rose field. Danny then decided to get started but he quickly realized there was no water in the can, he was about to go call Cynthia but he spotted a nearby tap seeing this he quickly went to go fill up the can.
After doing so he returned to the roses and began watering them. Danny continued watering for nearly an hour and when he finished noon arrived. He then decided to walk back to Cynthia and inform her he finished his duties. As he walked Danny found himself in the middle of the rose field and before he could continue he saw one rose bloom.
"Wow this one is already blooming."
Danny looked at this rose with amazement in his eyes, just then another rose began blooming and Danny saw this but before he could realize all the roses began blooming. The color of the field became predominantly pink and the air around began developing a soothing aroma.
Danny could do nothing but marvel at this beauty surrounding him. The atmosphere in the field immediately made Danny forget about his sadness, he stood in the field for a few more minutes before going back to the house. He excitedly ran into the house.
"MISS CYNTHIA, MISS CYNTHIA THE FLOWERS!!"
"Please calm down dear I can't hear you at all."
"Oh sorry. The flowers miss Cynthia the just bloomed."
"My my so early, are you sure Danny."
"Uh huh, you should have seen it when the flowers bloomed the air around the field became very bright pink and it smelled nice too."
"Wow I can't believe it, it looks like you saw something magnificent."
At that moment Cynthia gave Danny a cold beverage she had been preparing. Danny took the drink whilst still excitedly ranting about the flower field. He then took a sip of the beverage and found it delicious.
"Well it looks like you had a great time dear but I think you should be heading back now since you've been here for over an hour, I'm sure your parents might be worried."
"Aww but I wanna go back to the flower field."
"I'm sorry but you'll have to come back another day but don't worry dear I won't harvest these flowers for a week so you can definitely come back to see them."
Seeing there was no other choice Danny quickly finished his drink before heading out, he then arrived at the door and looked at Cynthia.
"Bye miss Cynthia thank you for letting me water the flowers."
"Oh you are welcome dear bye now."
As Danny left a satisfied smile could be seen on Cynthia's face. "I'm glad that worked" she mumbled to herself as she headed back into the house. Danny began walking back home but as he was walking he began daydreaming about the flower field.
Danny's daydreaming was abruptly cut when the sound of neighing horses came out of the blue...
