Eli
I wake up to smell of pancakes but I don't make any move to get up just yet, just continue laying on the couch as I go over everything that happened last night. My cock gets hard at the thought of what happened last night with Bailey and I let out a soft groan into the pillow as I think about what happened after. When we both reached our orgasm she all but ran to the room and locked herself in there, I asked through the door if she was okay and she assured me she was fine. I have a pit in my stomach at the thought of her regretting what we did last night but I put my feelings aside and head to the bathroom to wash my face and brush my teeth before heading to the kitchen, finding her moving around and I relax slightly at the sight of her wearing one my shirts that almost reaches her knees.
That's a good thing right?
"Morning." I say my voice still a bit rough from just waking up.
She turns to me and I lick my lips to hide my smirk when I see her blush "Hi."
"You sleep good?"
She nods "I did. You?"
"Me too." I take a seat by the kitchen island and she put a plate of pancakes in front of me but before I can grab the honey, she grabs it and throws some over my pancakes. I raise an eyebrow "You okay?"
"Yeah, of course. Are you okay?"
"I'm good." I watch her for a moment as she makes a cup of coffee and I know it's for me because she drinks tea "You just seem rather jumpy this morning."
"No, I'm not." She immediately says.
My eyes narrow and I say with a hint of amusement "Is this because we fucked last night?"
She whips around to stare at me with wide eyes "Can you please be a gentleman and speak decently?"
"I never claimed to be a gentleman, angel." She huffs before turning back to making my coffee and I start eating my pancakes while my eyes trails down her body. "You look good."
"Oh? Thank you."
"You are very welcome."
She puts my coffee down in front of me before saying "We should talk about last night."
I nod as a hint of dread washes over me "Definitely."
She clears her throat "So firstly, last night shouldn't have happened."
My jaw clenches "Do you regret it?"
"No, no." She shakes her head "I just feel like us having sex complicated things more. I mean we're not exactly on the best terms and I haven't forgiven you yet."
"I understand." Truth. "I promise I'll make things good between us, Bailey."
She gives me a small smile "I hope so."
We spend the rest of the morning eating our breakfast in comfortable silence and she heads to the bathroom to get ready for us to go to Trinity while I clean the kitchen. And suddenly I get an idea on how to make things right between Bailey and I so I grab my phone and dial a number.
It rings about three times before the call connects "Hello?"
"Maya. Can we meet up?"
A long pause on the side "Why?"
"I want to talk to you about something" Half true.
"I'm actually not far so I can be there tonight."
"No, don't come to my cabin. I'll meet you at the bar."
"Okay then. See you tonight then."
I hang up just as Bailey comes out and she looks around "I thought I heard you speaking to someone."
I raise my phone "Work."
"Oh okay." She gestures to the bedroom "Well the bathroom is all yours."
"Alright."
I head to the bathroom and I almost get dizzy at the sharp smell of her honey scent body wash and I take a deep breath, like I just got released from prison and smelling fresh air for the first time.
Fuck, I'm down bad.
Bailey
I'm sitting on my and Liliana's usual spot on the grass behind the cafeteria building when Marcus comes over to me.
"Hi." I say with a small smile.
"Hey." He gestures to a spot next to me "Mind if I join you?"
"Of course not." He nods and sits down next to me and I say "Liliana just went to the cafeteria to get more chocolate pudding."
"I know, she told me I'll find you here." He gives me a side ways glance "You've been avoiding me."
I grimace "Guilty."
He shakes his head "I feel beyond shit for the way I treated you."
"It's becoming a habit of you apologising to me." I say in amusement
"A bad habit yeah." He scoffs a laugh before turning to face me "In all honesty, I am sorry, Bailey. It was unfair of me to blame you for something you had no control over."
I nod "It was."
"Please forgive me. You are one of the best people I had the fortune of meeting and I would never want us to not be friends."
I smile "Kind of ironic how you didn't want to be friends at the beginning huh?"
"I know right? I have hit rock bottom."
I burst out laughing and he joins in, I nudge my shoulder against his "I am glad to call you a friend, Marcus."
He smiles and we both glance to Tyler as he makes his way over to us "You guys having fun without me? How dare you."
Marcus groans and I say "Join us. Marcus was just declaring how I'm his best friend."
Marcus sends me a side glare while Tyler scoffs as he takes a seat as well "I thought I was your best friend, Marc."
"I told you to not call me that." He says in irritation
Tyler waves his hand dismissively but before he can say anything, Liliana shows up with the chocolate pudding and passes one to me as she sits down "Have you guys made up?"
I nod in agreement "We have."
"Good so now you can spill the details about you and Eli without me having to repeat it for them."
I blink about a thousand times because I had no clue she was telling them but I find myself glad that she did. "Well we had an…eventful night."
Liliana's eyes widen "Sex!"
She exclaims like a someone just told her we're going to Disneyland and Tyler asks with a frown "Does this mean you are in an actual marriage with him now?"
"No." I pause "I don't know, everything is just so complicated."
Marcus says "You don't have to hold a grudge against him because of what happened with Eden."
"No, I do. That was not cool what he did."
Liliana nods in agreement "I'm sure it hurts him knowing you're still pissed off at him."
"I doubt it." I say and she raises an eyebrow before nodding to the right and we all follow her direction, seeing Eli standing by the building his eyes on us. Specifically me.
"He's been standing there for a while now." Liliana says "You still think he's world doesn't revolve you?"
I'm starting to think it does.
