Chereads / Revenge of the Kir / Chapter 3 - Meeting

Chapter 3 - Meeting

Kir is drinking tea, John is sitting opposite him.

- John, if you lose all your money again, you will pay bills (after this, Kir demonstratively cut the meat, hinting at the consequences), even though you are my friend, I am tired of constantly dealing with bandits because of your gambling in the casino - Kir.

- Oh, come on, it only happened a couple of times. When are we going to move out? - John answered.

Three huge steroid-pumped men come out of the bar, they were beating one teenager, the guy's face already looked like a pulp. Kir asked one of them as he passes by.

- What's the problem? What has he done? - Kir.

- It's none of your business, get lost - the largest of the 3 Bandits with Mohawk said with arrogance, as if talking to a cockroach.

Kir didn't like the answer, he took out a gun and fired into the air.

In response, the thugs tried to get their guns, but Kir, using his exoskeleton, accelerated and shot each of them in the head before they even managed to get their weapons out.

Kir approaches the guy, picks him up, puts him on his shoulder and carries him.

- Damn, I'm in trouble again... - thought Kir.

Who did you drag to me again? Are you Mother Teresa, constantly pining for the wounded? If the legend about the killer with half a face hadn't been going around town, I would have been fed to dogs or used as a battery in a spa salon.

*Using people as batteries began to be used as a form of intimidation, mainly by bandits. It was like a small capsule that contained a person, an exercise bike and a small toilet. A person was locked in this capsule, an IV with food was connected to him, and many electric wire needles were stuck into the body. If the speed decreased to what was needed to generate energy, the capsule immediately shocked with a strong current through these wire needles. In this way, the batteries had to work off their debt, they could not leave the capsule. Because if someone tried to touch the capsule without unlocking it, it immediately shocked with a strong current, because of which people fell unconscious. They had to work for 20 hours. Sleep in the same capsule. There was no bed, you had to sleep on the exercise bike. Many were in such slavery for years. Some died after 1-2 years due to constant exhaustion. *

-I am paying to you money for talking? - Kir

- You're always so serious. Okay, drag your wounded man to the functional bed. I'll fix him. But don't forget, I'm a doctor, not a magician. -

Doc scanned him with an infrared beam that was attached to the stool above the Functional Bed. After that, he took out a syringe with green liquid inside and stuck it into his heart. The guy finally regained consciousness and started talking, but foam started flowing from his mouth.

- Damn, those bastards poisoned him... - said Doc.
