The morning light filtered through the glass panels of Alexander's office, casting sharp lines over the polished black desk. He leaned back in his chair, a half-smirk playing on his lips as his thoughts drifted.

He had been informed earlier that Ella and her father were on their way back to Country G.

A piece of news that normally shouldn't occupy his mind longer than a minute had him excited as he thought about her.

'What is it about you, Ella?' He wondered as he leaned back in his seat.

At first, she had been nothing more than an amusing distraction... a woman who had stolen his schedules in an attempt to force a meeting with him.

He had come up with a plan as soon as he saw a picture of hers.
