That rumour spread like wild fire that's happening in los angeles california
It was already day three ever since the female student eavesdroped at Esta and Ayinla's conversation about Sahria and her boyfriend.
It wasn't pleasant for Sahria and her boyfriend, although she was the most affected by that rumour that someone had spread
No one knew the culprit of that rumour, only those two including Camelia knew it, the culprit behind it all
There was group of girls around Sahria table, in her class as they comforted and calmed her as she couldn't stop sobbing
Her boyfriend next to her as he too gave her company
There were only a few minutes until the classes start,
Otto and Kevin standing out of the classroom, not wanting to be part of what's going on inside their classroom
Otto sighed "Tsk...Annoying, can't they go out of the class and cry" He crossed his arms as he looked away from them, circle around that girl
"Well... I don't think there's anything they can do about it" Kevin turned to his side only to see Esta and her other friends walking past them
He only got to hear some few words, he didn't mean to, but he did.
'She decided to spread the rumour, you know...'

His gaze followed the three friends, Otto didn't seem to notice the girls walk past them. He jumped to a conclusion that it was Esta and her other friends whose name he forgot was also included in the spreading of the rumour
But he didn't want to jump to that conclusion even if Esta was a person who would something like that for fun...
"When's this drama going to end?" Otto complained with a tint of annoyance in his voice, that the drama was getting too damn lengthy
He shouldn't have expected it to end in a few seconds...
"It should end soon, the bell's about to ring as well." He nodded, patiently waiting for the bell to ring, although he doesn't except it to end immediately

A minute. The bell finally rang, students were slow to head back to their classes. Jessica, the victim from the rumour wiped her tears and tried to maintain her posture but failed as she ran out of the glass
bumping her shoulder into Otto's
The friends looked at eachother, they decide two of them goes and check up on her since the classes will start.
As a girl with her hair slightly toned and loose walked towards the door, her eyes fell on Otto and Kevin who didn't notice her
A small blush creeped up on her cheeks 'Excuse me' she hurried away and ran out, to the girl's washroom
Where Jessica had ran into to shed more tears to the negative rumour about her
Her friend followed behind her.
"... Sheesh..." Otto mumbled as he rubbed the back of his neck, his black turtle neck and walked to his seat. To the fifth row next to the open window
Kevin glanced behind him before turning back around
"... What's the subject now?" he asked Otto, he had forgotten to check the routine. Sitting two chairs away from him, diagonally
"Hm, darn. I think it's physics" He answered, doubtful, thinking about the current one but shrugged it off since he realised it's not that important
The door gently creeked open as a lady entered, books in her hand and shut the door behind her. Even with the wrinkles in her face, she was beautiful
The students stood up to wish the teacher a good afternoon, with two or three students still sitting down
Either they didn't liked the teacher or they were too lazy to stand up
'Good afternoon all, you can sit down.' She nodded, wiping her sweet with her handkerchief that was hidden in her back pocket
Shortly after, her physics class began. The chapter was surprisingly easy but it was lengthy and boring to many.
Half the class asleep with the lecture. Some even snorred, she found it disrespectful
Otto was one of them... sleeping so soundly with his head to the table even though the teacher was teaching
He was smart enough to pass the subject without studying, so he thought 'Where's the need to pay attention? A small go through and I'm fone'
But, his slumber was distributed as a metal scale was repeatedly slammed to the table by the ma'am.
'Rise and shine students! I'm sure you've eaten your lunches, don't act like you used up all of those energy.' she spoke, annoyed, in a loud voice to make sure every student is woken
He frowned as he pushed his hair back 'Damn teacher... I need sleep' Otto exhaled with a short yawn, pulling his turtle neck to cover his mouth as he did so
Kevin was hardly awake, he needed to pay attention in physics, a lot. He may be good in studies, but he's not a genius who is good in every subject
Science wasn't an easy subject for him, he would've taken humanities/arts if it wasn't for him being pressured to take science as his stream
He was never good at Maths and science, especially when it's physics.
The teacher saw the three empty seats, she was sure they were present as their bags and books were still there
'Where are these three? are they bunking?' She shook her head, dropping the scale on the table before walking to the door
pulling it open, she looked both directions, left and right. 'Goodness... who are these students?' she asked the class
The girls looked at eachother, wondering if they should answer or not although there was no reason why they shouldn't
'Ma'am Patricia, they went to console their friend' a male student shrugged while answering.
The teacher nodded 'hmmm...' she bobbed her head who knows why. Turning back around, she felt something was wrong
'Daniel, where is Otto? Wasn't he sitting behind you?' She asked confused, she has sworn that Otto was there just a few minutes ago sleeping
Daniel tilted his head confused at the teacher's question 'Huh? Otto? He's absent tho, he didn't come to school today.' He laughed
She glanced at the chair, no bags, no books on the table, just an open window to let the fresh wind come in
'Hm... Yeah, anyways, let's continue with the class-' She began her lecture, again. Many as dozzing off with her talk
nodding their heads although their head in empty, just a vacuum.
Kevin wondered, '...Will Otto's bones he alright? This is the second floor.' worried because Otto had jumped out of the window to bunk the current class and the classes after this one
His things? He barely bought any books so Daniel mixed Otto's book with his so that he could hide Otto's bag and water bottle inside his own bag
'That's the advantage of having a big fucking bag' Daniel smirked proud of himself 'Where did he go anyways?' He questioned himself in his head
Sleeping soundly behind the thick tree trunk, bushes around him to cover up more. He loved this specific area because...
The grasses was thick to make sitting or laying down comfortable,
It was behind the school where people barely go,
There are no windows around that area specifically, although there are, it's not close,
The breeze is amazing with a way out of the school wall without the security catching you
"Best spot ever" he yawned, the hair tie he had been wearing now on his wrist, he needed comfort to lay down
He slept for a while, only to have a nightmare but didn't make it a big deal by screaming... He had gotten used to it,
But he was almost covered with sweat, Sitting up as he wiped it and if it wasn't for the cold breeze, he would've been feeling so extremely hot as he wore a turtle neck.

He raised an eyebrow, as he glanced around him

he finally saw it, a kitten full of paterns and is probably of unknown breed. It was surprisingly clean despite the fact it looked like the kitten was abandoned as it was skinny
"... You're really skinny, you know that?" he questioned the kitten as he buttoned his school shirt after seeing how the small kitten shivered
He offered the kitten some warmth "You're feeling cold hm? Where are you owners little kitty?" He asked, as the kitten hesitated but came into his arms
Wrapping the shirt around the kitten, the shivering slowed
*meooow*
It wasn't noticeable, but a small smile curled up in the corner of his lips as he gently petted the kitten with his thumb
"Comfortable? Sleep for a while kitty." He whispered while her leaned to the trunk of the tree
His back to the trunk, one knee up. The kitten dozed off in the warmth of Otto's shirt. His left hand under the kitten to make sure that the kitten doesn't fall or slip down while sleeping
He had another dream, not a nightmare this time, it was about an army of cats behind him as they followed his every command?
His jet black eyes fluttering open, a little blurry as he bad just woken up, and he may has slept half an hour.
*Meoow-*
"...Hm? What's this, the kitten's awake?" He blinked, looking down at his chest to the kitten awake and chewing on his turtle neck although there was no damage to the shirt
He looked besides him "... Oh" he rubbed his eyes another kitten was nuzzling itself to his palm "Where'd you come from little guy?" He asked
*meow, meeow*
Gently picking the kitten up and wrapped the kitten in the shirt as well, just so that the two kittens can be warm.
He checked the gender of the two, he looked for any collar or any sigh they are pets
but there was none, he decided, he'll adopt both the kittens, he could because both the kittens were females
He already has a male in his house, his favorites cat,
"So it's... four cats and a puppy." He mumbled to himself under his breath, caressing the kittens as they purrer from his gentle touch
Unlike his usual rough, slightly aggresive and cold personality, he was surprisingly gentle and kind
he knew how to handle animals and care for them "But what should I feed you two? I don't have anything with me right now"
Otto went through his phone, going to whatsapp as he saw that a particular someone whose number he saved as 'Tall ahh rat' was online
*'You bought money?'*
He texted, waiting for the reply which didn't even take a minute to see seen
*'No😍'*
*'Alright, I have kittens with me, lend me some money to go and buy some food for them.'*
An immediate response
*'WTF boomshakalaka dwag😫, Alr I'm bunking class rn, where are you'*
*'Behind the school, bring em money, kittens starving rn'*
*'Say no less, the flash girl is on her waaah😩😍🫰'*
She went offline, and so did Otto, waiting for that 'Tall ahh girl' to come behind the school with money so that get some food of the car
It was shortly after a shadow towered over Otto, and Otto noticing the shadow over him, looked up
"Took you long enough." He looked back down, his hand under the kittens as he slowly stood up
Turning to Esta behind him with the money in her hand, breathing heavily "Shut your ass... I ran as fast as I can alright?" She gave him the money
"That was slow of you." He mocked, putting the money in his pocket as he hid the cats inside his shirt
"Don't forget to pay me back, don't use all the money." She breathed in, wiping her sweat with her shirt collar, which lifted her shirt slightly above her stomach and thankfully it didn't reveal much
He looked at the cats before he stepped back to the crake in the wall, but before leaving
"Tuck your shirt, who are trying to impress."
he scoffed and escaped the school just like that
