"... This is the place?"
A group of two men and one woman stood in front of the entrance of a valley that stretched as if splitting a rocky mountain to the depths of the planet itself.
"Terraria Grave..."
"The place where the Hero Lybran sealed the crazied Goddess Terraria..."
The three were amazed to see the interior of the valley filled with vines, mosses, and wild flowers.
The only woman in the group, Cia Colomb, collected mana between her fingers from the surroundings in order to feel the atmosphere of the surrounding environment.
"This place should be appropriate. Mana in this place is very dense and thick with the earth element."
Her blue eyes sparkled when she sensed the density of mana aound.
Both of them nodded at Cia.
The man with the armor wrapped around his entire body and was 2.6 meters tall raised his shield and walked in front.
"Let's go ahead and find Terra Flower immediately."
Another man followed behind and raised his dagger warily.
"Be careful, Dorm. Although it is said that monsters will not appear naturally in this place because of the Hero's seal, monsters from the surrounding areas can still come and inhabit this valley."
The big man who seemed to be named Dorm received the warning from his comrade well.
"No need to worry. I know. Protect Miss Cia well, Wein."
The three carefully arranged their positions and stepped deeper into the valley.
Vines grow denser and denser the deeper they go in.
When they went deeper than 400 meters, the area darkened as the vines had formed the ceiling and covered the sunlight.
"Light."
Cia cast her magic and formed a ball of light that illuminated the surroundings to facilitate their movement.
Dorm looked out at the ground beneath them which was now densely overgrown with colorful wildflowers.
"Isn't any of them Terra Flower?" He asked.
"I guess they're just ordinary wildflowers...?" Wein replied.
Wein squatted down and picked one of the flowers, weighed and measured them but didn't see a single special thing about them.
But Cia said otherwise.
"The Terraria Grave is where the Goddess is sealed, so of course they are not just ordinary flowers. They all contain dense Mana and surely any properties they possess will be multiplied several times compared to their Species elsewhere."
"Woah, seriously?" Wein exclaimed, then picked up a flower stalk nearby, "Then does this have some kind of property, Miss?"
Flatly, Cia replied after seeing what Wein was holding.
"It's not even flower. It was a baby Monster. The plant type one."
"What!"
Wein gasped and immediately threw the flower stalk he was holding onto the ground.
After he took a closer look, the thing did look like a caterpillar when its slowly, very slowy, moving.
Wein grinded the baby plant monster with his feet and immediately raised his dagger carefully, looking at all the flowers around him.
His face was a picture of nervousness.
"Damn, it looks like this place is going to be quite dangerous, man."
Dorm and Cia nodded and sharpened their eyes in response.
As if answering Wein's sentence, the ground beneath the three began to tremble.
At the next moment.
The ground in front of them suddenly exploded, revealing a figure of flower petals full of creepy teeth that dripped acid liquid with dozens of tendrils as thick as an adult's arm.
Behind Dorm and Wein, Cia began to chant.
"O fire, O Inferno..."
The mana in her body began to circulate and gather in her palm, forming a burning fire.
***
"Harrgg!"
Dorm thrusts his heavy shield into the body of the last plant monster; crush it with weights.
Dorm took off his helmet and wiped his sweat.
"How far have we gone?" He asked Cia who was sitting in front of the corpses of plant monsters and charred animal-like monsters.
Cia took a breath for a while before answering.
"We should have entered the depth of 2000 meters by now..."
Cia reached into her waist bag and pulled out a map scroll.
She read the map, compared their current location to the map, then pointed forward.
"In the next 20 meters, we will find an illusory barrier installed by the four main countries. There we should be fine with the Magic Toil that the Mayor has given us. With barrier, we'll also be safe from monster attacks..."
Wein and Dorm came over and looked at the map while listening to Cia's explanation.
"After that, we just need to walk through the maze. We'll be fine with this map as well. And finally, there, we will enter the main room where the Terraria seal is located. There... We should be able to find the Terra Flower."
The three of them had searched every side and corner of the valley's slopes on their way but couldn't find a single Terra Flower that they desperately needed.
They did get a lot of nutritious medicinal plants and some useful minerals during the trip but since the purpose of their trip here had not been fulfilled, they were forced to keep searching and go further.
Wein nodded and sat down.
"I don't think we have a choice then. We should enter the Terraria Seal's room after resting."
The three of them rested for a few tens of minutes before proceeding to the deeper part.
As the Cia said, both the illusion barrier and the maze that would have been very complicated and even deadly if they had normally passed through, could be easily passed through with the Magic tool and the map they received during this mission.
After going through a long maze for several hours, the three of them eventually found an old double door built using a material that seemed to be made of bronze but was much more sturdy and mysterious.
Cia took out an emerald green gem from her waist bag and placed the gem in the hole provided in the door.
The gem fits perfectly into the hole when Cia puts it there.
That first existence seemed to have fulfilled certain conditions, so it made the gem shine very brightly.
Streaks of green light flow on the carvings and mysterious symbols on the doors.
When all the carvings and symbols had been filled with green stripes, the door crackled and opened with a loud enough sound.
Because it is old, the door has been covered with a lot of vines and dust.
When the door opened inwards, the vines were torn apart while dust began to fall.
The three of them watched the amazing scene with amazed faces.
"Ohh... So this is..."
"The so-called..."
"The legendary... Terraria... Seal?"
But the three became even more astonished when they actually got a good view of the room behind the large door that had just opened.
The mouths of the three fell open.
"Hm? The door is open?"
There, the three of them found a man with long black hair in... In a state of complete nudity.
The man waved and smiled at them as if there was nothing strange about him.
"Hello there!"
