Faceless took the Advanced Lenses and wore them, as for how he did that, Jace didn't know but was definitely curious about it. Of course he didn't bother to ask Faceless because he was sure that the explanation would be something complicated.
"Wow, what is this magical treasure that allows me to see Spirit Qi, zoom in and zoom out. It also has battle techniques but they are useless to me. Thank you master for your gift, I will definitely use it well." said Faceless while kneeling.
"Don't worry about it, it's fine. Just get me that fruit." said Jace with a smile but inside was shocked.
'How the fuck did he do it?! It took me weeks to barely know how to use the lenses yet he can do it instantly! The world truly is unfair, whatever, I'll get something better for myself.' inwardly thought Jace.

Faceless travelled at full speed, moving at incredible speeds that nothing could trace him. He travelled until he reached the ocean coast. He looked at the vast expanse of only water and was a little irritated.
"Damn it, the Laven World's geography has changed. There used to be one continent but now there are many and I can feel my mark in that direction. Will I even make it in two days? Fuck!" said Faceless. Four pitch black insect wings grew on his back and he started flying above the sea water and often looked at his reflection on the water.
…
It took Faceless exactly 24 hours of full speed travelling before he reached his destination. It was nighttime when he reached the place and IT was a big island in the middle of the ocean. A high tech tower was built on this island and was even fenced, had landmines and security was installed around the building.
'The tree is hidden deep underground. Fortunately I found it or I wouldn't know how to face the master when returning empty handed. It's time to feed my Abyss Daggers.' thought Faceless as he suddenly vanished.
…
"Bro, look at this beautiful night sky. This is why I love working night shifts. It's quiet and peaceful at night."
"Yeah, I love this job. We get paid for doing absolutely nothing and our families are here with us, what more could you ask for."
Two guards armed with what seemed to be AK-47 guns chatted happily while looking at the night sky. While chatting, one of the guards just fell on the ground and stopped moving.
"Bro! Bro, what happened?! Shit, there's no pulse! I need immediate medical assistance! Man down! I repeat, "Man Down!" said the guard through his walkie-talkie.
Soon, paramedics rushed to the scene, put the fallen guard in the stretcher and left with him. The paramedics opened the tight security doors that even an ant wouldn't be able to enter and entered with the guard, not realising that one of their shadows had turned a shade darker.
Once inside the building, the door automatically closed and inside the building were many surveillance cameras that followed anyone coming in or going out. One of the paramedics suddenly fell to the floor and wasn't breathing. The other paramedic checked his partner's pulse but there was none. He was about to call for help when he too fell into eternal slumber.
Tud! Tud! Tud! Tud!
Alarms rang out as the programme AI gave out commands in order to quell the danger while maintaining order and stability within the building. Every floor of the building was filled with countless heavily armoured cyborgs who also carried high tech assault rifles. Every cyborg took aim and was ready to shoot but there was no enemy on sight.
One of the cyborgs on the ground floor suddenly fell to the floor, already dead, then another one and another one. Cyborgs kept dying without knowing the cause of death.
'Strange. These humans have modified most of their bodies into metal and only their vital organs were left alone. This metal is quite strong, if it were someone else, they'd have to spend more time dealing with these modified humans… unfortunately they met me.' said Faceless inwardly while hiding in the shadow of one of the cyborgs.
He then continued his killing spree without leaving any traces of himself. His victims didn't bleed or had wounds anywhere, they just dropped dead.
[We have no visuals on the target! Repeat, we have no visuals on the targ…]
Plop!
Unfortunately, this soldier and all the soldiers on the ground floor were dead. Their corpses blocked the way, piled up on top of each other.
After killing everyone, Faceless sat on top of the corpses and activated his x-ray vision.
'Wow, so many Souls for my Abyss Daggers, what a great harvest. Now, how do I go underground without wasting time. I'll just spare person to make me underground.' thought Faceless as he stood up, entered the elevator and went to the first floor.
The cyborgs on the first floor all aimed their guns at the elevator and as soon as it opened, energy bullets rained down on it.
Du! Du! Du! Du! Du! Du! Du! Du! Du! Du!
The elevator was completely riddled with holes but there was no corpse, not even a drop of blood. The cyborgs quickly reloaded their guns but it seemed death came even faster. Cyborgs kept on dying without a reason and not one knew what or who the enemy was or looked like.
Faceless then proceeded to the second floor, then the third, four, fifth and all the way to the ninth floor. The tenth floor was where the residents lived.
As planned, Faceless had left one cyborg alive but when he asked him questions, he refused to cooperate.
"Since you don't want to speak then you can go die but first, let me do a Soul Search." The cyborg man then felt an overwhelming power invade his mind and he couldn't do anything to stop it. The chip inside his brain tried to detonate itself but the overwhelming power stopped it from doing so.
'I see. So the key was in the elevator all along. Let me quickly harvest the Souls of everyone above before going down below.

Down below, about a hundred or so researchers filled the massive lab that was mostly constructed from glass. Wearing white anti static jumpsuits, at the centre of this lab was a massive tree brimming with vitality.
Some of the researchers were studying the fruits of the tree which closely resembled a banana but they had red peels unlike regular bananas that had yellow peels. Other researchers were studying the liquid from the red banana fruit and some were studying the fruit itself. In short, everyone was busy, so busy that they didn't even realise the elevator doors opening.
'Wow, so many fruits… but why do they lack energy?'
