Chapter 11 - 11. Universe Inside

Kimiki awoke with a start, feeling strange and disoriented. For a moment, he couldn't remember where he was. As he opened his eyes, the vastness of space surrounded him. Stars twinkled far away, and he floated aimlessly. Kimiki looked at his own body and noticed that he had grown incredibly big. He could not see Earth anywhere, and panic began to rise within him.

Suddenly, a peculiar sensation rumbled in his stomach. It was a feeling he had never experienced before. As realization dawned, he gasped. He remembered sleeping, drifting off while feeling satisfied from a feast the night before. "I ate the Earth?" he whispered in disbelief, his voice echoing in the stillness of space.

Meanwhile, back on Earth, Kimiki's friends began to wake up. They looked outside and were confused by the darkness that blanketed the world. It was daytime, yet it felt like night. One friend, Taro, raised his voice, "Why is it so dark? It should be sunny right now!"

As they gathered, the truth gradually emerged. "It must be Kimiki!" cried Mia, her eyes wide with shock. "He must have eaten us too!" The group was horrified and helpless. They knew Kimiki had special powers, including the ability to change his size, but they never imagined it would come to this.

Kimiki felt a mix of guilt and confusion. While floating in the endless void, he mulled over the consequences of his actions. Without the sun, he realized, the world below would remain in darkness. But surprisingly, it wouldn't be cold because his body radiated warmth. That's when an idea struck him. "If I eat the sun, maybe everything will be alright!" he thought, motivated by hope.

With a deep breath, Kimiki focused his energy. He gathered all his strength and grew even larger, extending his massive arms toward the sun. In one swift motion, he plucked it from the sky and popped it into his mouth. A bright light erupted within him, illuminating the dark space around. Below, the people on Earth gasped as the sun returned to their sky, casting golden rays over the land again.

But with the sun back, Kimiki felt an unexpected heaviness in his stomach. It was as if he had consumed not just the sun but the fabric of the universe itself. Panic settled in as he realized the enormity of the situation. "What have I done?" he lamented. "The entire universe is inside me now!"

Back on Earth, his friends, visibly shaken, were quiet for a moment. They felt the warmth of the sun and breathed a sigh of relief, but it didn't overshadow their deep concern for Kimiki. Mia turned to Taro and whispered, "We need to help him. He must be feeling terrible."

Kimiki was now lost in thought. He could sense the universe swirling within him, countless stars and galaxies moving together, and they were now part of him. "How can I get everyone out?" he pondered. Despite his immense power, he felt trapped.

While he floated in space, he thought about how to separate and release the universe back to where it belonged. "Maybe I can transform the energy! I can create a portal," he declared softly. In his grand size, he focused his thought and began to hum a melody, channeling every atom that was inside him.

Though Kimiki had ventured into the unknown and created chaos, he had come to understand his powers more deeply. With a renewed sense of purpose, he thought of the adventures that lay ahead, knowing he could always save the day whenever needed.
