Kimiki was a normal boy who lived in a small town in the USA. He was in grade 11 and spent his days attending school, studying, and hanging out with friends. One evening, after a long day at school, he slouched into his bedroom, exhausted. As he sat on his bed, looking around his room, something strange caught his eye.
A sparkling gem appeared out of nowhere, glowing with a bright light. It floated in the air, twirling mysteriously before suddenly flying straight into him. Kimiki gasped as he felt an overwhelming energy rush through his body. Suddenly, a booming voice echoed in his mind.
"Welcome to the system! You have unlocked the ability to grow stronger and larger through tiers. Each tier will bring power and size. Ready for your first tier?"
Kimiki couldn't believe what he was hearing. He was confused but also curious. "What's the first tier?" he asked hesitantly.
"Tier: Big Tier. You will grow to 2 meters tall. Your task is to complete one sport. Are you ready?"
Without thinking much, Kimiki agreed. He decided to play basketball in his driveway. He practiced shooting and dribbling until the sun went down. Tired but happy, he returned to his room and went to sleep.
That night, a magical change occurred. Kimiki felt a strange sensation in his body as he slept. When he woke up the next morning and looked in the mirror, he couldn't believe his eyes—he was now 2 meters tall! Everything in his room looked different; his clothes seemed tighter, and his bed felt smaller.
"Maybe it was a dream," he thought, shaking his head. He dressed and headed to school, still unsure of his transformation. As he walked down the hallway, he noticed something odd. Everything seemed smaller around him—his classmates, the lockers, even the teachers! When he entered his classroom, everyone stared in shock; he was taller than any student or teacher.
His best friend, Alex, came over, looking amazed. "Kimiki! Is that you? You are so tall! What happened?"
"I don't know! Maybe it was just a weird dream. I watched some strange movies last night." They talked about cool characters that fought in the movies, and for the first time, Kimiki felt proud of being tall.
School ended, and Kimiki headed home, still unsure about his height. Once again, he thought about the next tier. "What is the next tier?" he wondered aloud.
"Next tier: Small Giant. You will grow to 5 meters. Your task is to eat a big meal and do sport," the voice returned.
Excited, Kimiki asked his mom to cook him a huge plate of pasta with meat and sauce. He devoured it all, then ran outside to shoot hoops again. As he played, he started feeling strange. Suddenly, he looked down—he was now standing at an incredible height of 5 meters!
The next day at school was even more chaotic. Kimiki had to stoop low to enter the classroom. He sat at his desk, his head grazing the ceiling. Sitting next to Alex, he laughed at their reactions. "This isn't a problem. It's just height!" he said.
But some students whispered behind his back. "He's too big," one said. "This won't help him get better in life." Kimiki felt a pang in his chest but decided to show them his strength.
"I want to challenge anyone to an arm-wrestling match!" he declared. To his surprise, a boy named Mark stepped forward. The students gathered around, and the atmosphere turned electric. They placed their hands on the desk, and with one mighty push, Kimiki won effortlessly. The crowd cheered, and he felt a rush of happiness.
After school, Kimiki returned home and heard the system's voice again. "Next tier task: Eat a whole cow."
"What? A whole cow?" he exclaimed in disbelief. However, he was determined. He went to a nearby farm and asked the farmer to cook a whole cow. After much preparation, Kimiki sat down and ate the enormous feast, savoring every bite.
That night, after a tiring day, he went to bed. When morning came, he stood up and noticed the room felt different once more. He rushed to the mirror. His heart raced as he gasped—he was an astonishing 50 meters tall!
He could barely fit in his house anymore. As he stepped outside, the ground felt different beneath him, and he was careful not to step on anything. The town looked like a toy set from his height. Arriving at school, there were screams and gasps as students and teachers looked up in awe, fear, and amazement.
"Look at me! This is amazing!" Kimiki shouted to Alex, who stood wide-eyed below him. Everyone was scared, but Kimiki felt powerful and unstoppable. He laughed, "It's great!"
While he loved being tall, he also wondered if people would accept him. With each new tier, he gained more strength but felt the weight of being different. How would he find a balance between being who he was and who he had become? Kimiki knew he must find a way to connect with friends again, no matter how giantT he got. The adventure was just beginning.
