He was her father's younger brother. Bran's wife brought the idea of selling her off as Elsa became a threat to her children cos of her beauty. She was loved by young and richer men in the town but was always locked indoors out of jealousy.
She thought her life would end as a prostitute at the brothel but it all changed when she got sold to Asher Stubbe, the most powerful alpha who turned out to be her mate.
The memory of her parent lingered in her heart every time she woke up. She remembers the smile on her father's face when he called out her name and the way he would always shuffle her blond hair and she would whine about it.
She remembers her mom always laughing from the kitchen when that happened. She wiped the lone tears that fell down her cheeks. Death took them away so fast, she thought to herself with a shake of her head. Until now she is still in shock by their sudden death. Elsa finds it hard to change into her wolf form. She was told by her uncle even though she kind of didn't believe him, he said that she was born with an ailment that took almost her powers and she doesn't have much time to live as of we speak. He told her she only had a few more years to live. Elsa uses that as a reminder to do all they want her to do cos, she believes she will die soon anyway.
When she was eighteen years of age, she was supposed to change into her wolf form but it came with difficulty. At that point, she believed her uncle might be telling the truth cos werewolves her age often change when they are eighteen years or even younger than that. She doesn't know why hers was different. She can't run faster like the others. Whenever she changes into her wolf form she is always in pain. She doesn't have any connection with her wolf to top it all off.
They turned her into a maid and her parents are living off her father's property. Her uncle was a slave before her parent died and then he took all their property and made a name for himself but they made her a maid instead. That always hurts her badly.
Elsa blocked the conversation and concentrated on her chores. She hates this life so bad. At some point, she always feels like running away but she can't. Her uncle will always find her. She has no money with her. She is just a dropout from college and has no one to help her out. Her uncle is the only family she knew from her father's side and for her mother, she knew nothing about her family. But she remembers her always mentioning that she came from a respectable home.
Elsa always wonders if they banished her mother cos she married her dad. She didn't want to think about that but the possibility was surreal. She wants to believe that cos in a way, she might have another rich family who might accept her since her mother was dead. She couldn't help but wonder.
