Synopsis
Commander Herman is celebrated as one of the world's elite soldiers, known for his unmatched combat skills and sniper precision. After a grueling deployment, he finally takes a well-deserved vacation to a serene beach, seeking relaxation and escape from the chaos of warfare. As he swims in the crystal-clear waters, an inexplicable force suddenly pulls him under, and darkness envelops him. When Herman opens his eyes, he finds himself surrounded by a bizarre assembly of creatures: beasts with human-like features and animal ears. Confusion floods his mind as a talking wolf steps forward, explaining that they have summoned him for help. "Human," it declares, "we use our remaining power to summon you. We need your strength to protect us." Herman struggles to process the situation. Is this some elaborate prank? As he questions his surroundings, another creature growls in frustration, lamenting their choice of summoning a mere human instead of a powerful dragon or god. Disoriented and skeptical, Herman begins to explore this strange new world, grappling with the reality that he is no longer on the beach. The wolf leader insists that despite being human, Herman possesses something special that could turn the tide in their battle against looming threats. As tensions rise among the summoned beings, Herman realizes this is no dream—it's a desperate plea for help from creatures who believe he is their last hope. With doubts swirling in his mind and a sense of duty igniting within him, Commander Herman must decide whether to embrace this unexpected calling as their protector or find a way back to his previous life. Little does he know that this new world will challenge everything he thought he knew about strength and survival.

Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: Start

Herman was guided by a large wolf from the tower where the beast resided. The tower was enormous, with 130 floors that seemed to reach the sky."Many years later, we, the beasts, summoned multiple creatures to protect this tower, but some of them failed and became traitors. Our enemies are also humans; they call themselves hunters. To level up their abilities, they need to kill us," the wolf explained to Herman. As the wolf spoke, Herman remembered a game from his world where players killed monsters to gain experience.

"You mentioned that you summoned multiple creatures. Where are they now?" Herman asked. The wolf fell silent for a moment before letting out a sigh."Those creatures were killed by the hunters, and some of the humans we summoned betrayed us for wealth." So those humans are from Earth as well.

"I hope you won't be disappointed in us. If it's wealth you seek, we can offer you our greatest treasure—" Wolf began, but the Herman interrupted.

"No. I don't need it. In my world, I already have wealth and fame. I just want you to do me a favor." The wolf fell silent and then nodded."After I protect you from those hunters... you must bring me back to my world." The wolf flinched but then smiled at Voss.

"Yes, I will bring you back to Earth." As they both agreed on this condition, the wolf introduced himself as Regar. Regar also invited Herman to visit the tower and promised to protect him from the hunters. However, due to the history of failed summons, Herman was not exempt from hostility coming from other beasts. Fortunately, he managed to befriend one clan—the rabbits. They welcomed him as one of their own.

Unfortunately, this was only the first level of the tower; levels 2 through 130 were hostile territory. But Voss was not bothered by this; he was used to facing countless hostile people during wars in his own world, where lives were lost in the fight for a better future. This was not new to him.As he interacted with the rabbit clan, he noticed that other beasts were glaring at him.

He tried to be friendly, but it wasn't as easy as he had hoped. Sighing, he observed a group of bears and wolves arguing over food. He approached them to settle the issue, but as soon as he stepped in, their glares turned directly toward him.

"What are you doing here, you useless fool?" one of the bears growled at him. These were not ordinary animals; some possessed elemental attributes that could attack him.

"I'm not looking for a fight; I just want you all to behave or settle this dispute. If you'd like, I can hunt for all of you—just stop fighting, okay?" He heard them laugh, and he joined in without knowing what was funny.

"Oh yeah? How about you hunt us a wyvern?" one of them mocked.

He knows what wveryn are, but to hunt one? I doubt he could do it without a gun. Not to mention that wveryn are significantly larger than humans. However, to be accepted by this prideful beast, I think it wouldn't be bad if he at least tried."Okay, but first give me a minute to prepare some materials."

He gathered wood to create a weapon, and the beasts watched him with curiosity. Some of them laughed because the weapon he fashioned couldn't even scratch the wveryn. He knew that from the start, but at least he could show them that he was making an effort.

As he completed the weapon, the bear and the wolves guided him to the end of the mountain, where they pointed out that wveryn were flying into this territory."Look, human! I know you're a fool, but I have faith in you to hunt these creatures." He could sense the mockery in the wolves' words, but he smiled back at them, determined not to show any weakness."I know! But who knows? God might favor me." As he said that, he focused on hunting when suddenly a screen popped up in front of him.

System: [Hunting wveryn mission]Do you want to activate your hidden power? [Yes or No]

He was confused and asked the two if they saw the screen appearing before him, but they looked just as puzzled. So, he was the only one who could see it. He clicked "Yes," and suddenly an enormous surge of energy coursed through his body—something he couldn't explain. A large circle manifested in front of him, filled with a thousand arrows lined up and ready to strike.

"WHAT THE! WHERE IS THIS COMING FROM!" The two were shocked, while Herman stared in disbelief at the spectacle unfolding before him.

System: The system detected wveryn... Counting... 500 wveryn detected.[Are you ready to attack?] [Yes or No]The three of them exchanged glances, and Herman clicked "Yes."

The circle began spinning and released the arrows aimed at the wveryn. In that moment, all 500 wveryn fell in one devastating attack, and the massive blast from their demise caused the mountain to split in half. Herman couldn't believe his eyes; perhaps his joke about divine favor held some truth after all.The bear and wolf stared at Herman in disbelief, beads of sweat forming on their brows as he grinned foolishly.

"You! Are you truly a God?" The bear pointed at him, while both nodded vigorously. Herman shook his head in response."Nope! I'm just an ordinary human—" He was cut off when the bear grabbed both of his arms firmly.

"You're lying! That power is not ordinary; you just cut half a mountain with that spell! How do you explain that?" He wondered if Regar had been telling the truth when he called Herman their protector because of this newfound power.

"I don't know, but I'm glad to have it! So now I can confidently say that I can protect you all," he declared with newfound determination."We're sorry for doubting you." Herman was taken aback by their apologies.

"Okay! Apology accepted! So how about we go after those wveryn?" They made their way toward the tower where they could interact further. As they walked together, the bear introduced himself as Garu and the wolf as Vaal."That was amazing, Herman! You said you could see a screen? How bizarre is that!" Garu exclaimed, his eyes wide with excitement."Maybe it's because of this."

Herman pointed at the screen that only he could see. However, they faced another problem: how could they bring back these wveryn—each one much larger than them—and there were 500 of them? This seemed impossible. As Herman pondered this dilemma, the system began to respond again.

System: [Bring the wveryn to tower]

[Would you like to use teleport magic?]

[Yes or No]

Herman was amazed by this system; it even had the initiative to offer suggestions. How lucky he must be to have this! He tapped "Yes," and suddenly more circles appeared, collecting all the wveryn effortlessly. What?! He looked at the system in awe; he couldn't figure out where this power was coming from...

"Woahh!!! That's amazing!!" Garu shouted while Vaal remained silent, his eyes wide as if he couldn't believe what he was witnessing.
