A knock sounded at the door. Isabella got up to answer it.
"Who are you?" she asked.
"Lisa," the woman replied. "I'm with the All-Week News Report—AWNR Channel."
Isabella's eyes lit up with recognition. "Oh, now I know you."
Lisa nodded. "Are you Isabella? The soon-to-be wife of Julian Moreau?"
"Yes," Isabella confirmed.
Before she could say more, Lucy's voice came from inside. "Isabella, who's at the door?"
"It's a news reporter," Isabella called back. "Her name is Lisa."
At the mention of the name, Julian's expression darkened. Lucy, noticing his reaction, narrowed her eyes. "Let her in," she said.
Isabella stepped aside, allowing Lisa to enter. Julian turned to Lucy, frustration evident on his face, but before he could say anything, Lisa spoke up.
"Julian Moreau," she said with a knowing smile.
Julian's tone was sharp. "Why are you here?"
"My boss thinks this whole wedding is fake. That you two aren't actually going to have a happy marriage," Lisa said bluntly. "So I'm here to find out the truth."
Julian crossed his arms. "It's not true, so you can leave."
Lisa smirked. "I'm not leaving until I confirm it myself."
Cilla, who had been quietly observing, stepped forward. "This is my house," she said firmly. "And I'm telling you to leave."
Lisa turned to her with a sly expression. "Mrs. Moreau, I'm sure you want this wedding to happen, don't you?"
"Yes," Cilla admitted without hesitation.
"Then if I leave without statements from Julian and Isabella," Lisa continued, "this wedding could fall apart. But if I stay, it will happen—because both the Moreau name and family reputation depend on it."
Cilla sighed, then turned to Julian. "Go with Lisa, dear."
Julian clenched his jaw. "But—"
"No buts," Cilla said firmly. "Go."
