Shohon's transformation got turned off and laid unconscious, soaked in blood, beside the nearest rock.
While, 8 arms horrid was walking towards Akashi. Seeing him approach him scared him. So, he was thinking about running away. But he wasn't so sure if he would be able to escape from the horrid. He hurriedly summoned his system.

There's nothing much I can use.
Akashi thought, looking annoyed.
What should I do? It will still take 50 seconds to reload both of my cannon arm. I should use one of the common abilities...
Before he could finish thinking 8 arms horrid again made a super dash at him, and went Infront of him instantly. Though the horrid looked weaker than before due to losing a lot of blood. But still, seeing him standing before him, so close, made Akashi gulp.
Since Akashi is still new when it comes to using his system, he doesn't have a good command over it just like Shohon. Due to failing to think quickly 8 arms horrid hammered him on the head with all of his fists together. Causing him to fall forward, and sent him in the state of concussion due to a heavy hit on his head, enough to shake his whole brain.
Akashi was looking beneath as he was looking conflicted and looked like he was groveling on 8 arms horrid's feet.
He was trying desperately to stand up, but couldn't. His legs were just giving out. Only 35 seconds till his cannon become shootable again.
The horrid tried to down thrust him using his right foot, but Akashi rolled to his left barely, so the horrid failed to do that.
But, Akashi wasn't still safe though. He only managed to roll few inches from that spot. So, The horrid grabbed his collar with the intention of finishing him off.
The horrid threw him in the air above him. Then he grew all of his finger nails long like last time and pointed all of them facing Akashi's vital points of body.
It was clear that the horrid was trying to toy with him. Because, he knew that it might not be enough to kill him, since, both horrids and Human-horrid hybrids can shrink their heart and move it where ever they like inside their body.
It might not kill him, but it would definitely make him feel unbearable pains, if those long point fingernails pierce him through his eyes, chest, mouth, throat etc.
Seeing this, knowing there's no avoiding that, he thought of using the one of the common abilities that every horrids possess.
He turned his cannon arms into his original greenish monstrous arms. Then with his pointy short black nail, he made a small hole on his right palm.
Then a lot of blood came out of that small hole, and he made a bloody whip with that, then lashed the horrid on his eyes.
The horrid roared and groaned in pain, closing his eyes, sat on his knees.
Now, there was a opportunity for Akashi to use. Since those deadly fingernails weren't facing him anymore, he grinned a bit, showing his visible acute and pointy teeth.
Then he made something pointy with his blood, and pierced its head as soon as he landed on the sandy ground.
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah.
The sound of the roar came from 8 arms horrid back, where his big mouth was. He roared very very loudly, enough to leave Akashi's hear ringing for a while.
Obviously, that attack wasn't enough to kill him. The 8 arms horrid grabbed its head, while being kneeled down.
Then suddenly, Akashi withdrew his blood, returning inside the small hole he made earlier on his palm, then the hole healed and went back to normal.
Akashi stepped back a bit, then said while grinning like he had already won:
"Do it."
The reflection of the 8 arms horrid's back was on a pair of gentle blue eyes with black dense cross marks on the blue eyeballs. These glowing blue eyes belonged to Shohon, who had transformed into horrid again without 8 arms horrid noticing it.
His monstrous face was calm and focused as his blue eyes were analyzing the 8 arms horrid's body and seeing if the heart of the veil monster was where it should be.
Determining that the small sized heart was in its entrails, without wasting any time, Shohon grew his nails bigger, then immediately stabbed the back of the monster and pierced through its belly. Then pulled his hand back from its back as the blood sprayed from both its belly and back.
Looking very worn out, Shohon shouted:
"Use your cannon balls now."
Even though he had completely destroyed the heart of the horrid, which was their only weakness, just to make sure he was really death he told Akashi to fire cannon balls.
But little did Shohon know that Akashi's range of explosion can be extended to 1 mitre. Last time he shot using limited range was because of Shohon, who was very close when he shot his cannon balls. If he didn't maybe Shohon would have been blown off, or this is what Akashi thinks, since he isn't knowledgeable about Shohon unique ability.
Now, everything was set, and Shohon had moved far away from that place using his super speed, Akashi turned his arms back into cannons again and without a moments delay he fired cannon balls one after the another, Covering the range of half mitre. The explosion was so dense that the 8 arm horrid didn't have any means to escape. Instead, he burned to dead due to heavy dense fire.
Then a words appeared before Shohon, displaying
[The horrid is deceased]
[Congratulation: You have slain 8 arms horrid]
Akashi sat on his knees, out of exhaustion.
He looked relieved that it is dead.
Getting the notification, a sense of relieve appeared on Shohon's face. It was really over. The monstrosity before him was slain.
So, he sprawled on the ground, looking happy. Though, it's a bit hard to tell whether he was happy or not due to his monstrous form and all that frozen blood all over him.
He gave a sigh of relieve, and said:
"We did it...We actually managed to survive this!"
