In the early morning of July. As Kaizer Klein Smith, the Billionaire CEO of 'Smith Enterprises' finally arrived at the company...
Alexandria stood at the very entrance with crossed arms.
The revolving glass door in the background of her figure continued to turn and turn. The figures of other employees dressed is suits and formal wear, busily moving is completely through the clear glass walls that covered the front of the ground floor was right behind her.
But all these doesn't seem to divert Kaizer's view from his car that Alexandria was giving off her, 'I'm pissed' aura. In mild level only, which he was thankful for.
Kaizer hesitantly comes out of his Porsche with his hair slick and styled. He is wearing his sunglasses and his well tailored, well ironed and well cologned three piece suit. After glancing at Alexa's way, he sees her crossed arms and calm expression that all too well screams 'I'm so disappointed in you.'
He walks towards her direction and stopped directly in front of her like a whimpering puppy that knows it's guilty of something.
"You're late." She 'warmly' greets and nods at his sunglasses, signalling him to take it off.
Kaizer shakes his head, signalling as a no to her silent demand. As always, after earning a glare, he immediately lowers his head and lets Alexandria takes his sunglasses off herself. She narrows her eyes as she examines his.
"Bwesit." She curses in Tagalog as Kaizer's eyes showed signs of hangover. "You have a meeting with the board today that will start in 15 minutes. You're not only late, you're also hangover and let me accurately guess, you also overslept because of sleeping with a random woman last night."
Kaizer's puppy expression now stretched into a smirk. "Slept with a random woman, I sure proudly did. Though I wish the one in my bed last night was you." He winks.
Saying that, he instantly earned a well deserved glare. "I've no time and no tolerance of your jokes, sir."
She gives him back his sunglasses and starts walking inside the company building, going through the revolving glass doors and walking inside with a slow pace so he can catch up.
Which he instantly did, after walking past the revolving door, he caught up to her easily and led the way to the conference room where the board meeting will take place.
Kaizer Klein Smith's Point of View~
I caught up to Alexa and walked beside her.
'Whew~' I whistle in my mind as I look at her up and down and take in her professional attire, her hair in a tight bun, her suit light pink along with her pants and white heels.
Too conservative, I wanna strip her- Ahem.
'No other lady compares to my secretary when it comes to fashion.' I could say that out loud, but she would just glare at me and call me a pervert. Which she's done about a million times.
And hey, I'm proud to be a pervert, when it comes to her. But of course, I have my boundaries too. I don't want to loose her as my secretary, she's a walking piece of Da Vinci art, if I may say.
Leading her to the conference room, the hallway and all the surrounding designs and structures was befitting the company's name and my wealth, this modern setting is also my brilliant idea. Hehe.
And before you judge my character, I'm not an airhead, I'm just truthfully boastful.
Me and Alexa walked through the hallway, I couldn't help but ask.
"That... 'Bwesit' word, was that a curse or something?" I asked curiously, she seems to speak more of her language when she's in a bad mood.
Alexa answered me with that smart mouth of hers, "A word is just a word, it all depends on what's it's purpose when spoken."
Tsk, this woman.
"So it was a curse then?" I raise an eyebrow.
She didn't answer after that and continued walking with me. Damn, she's lucky I like her. Romantically, if anyone asks.
As we continued walking, I kept my eyes on her. The headache from my hungover seem to disappear at the angelic sight of this lady.
"Alexa." I call her.
"Sir", she answers, knowing too well that the tone I used meant nothing but still entertains me. So kind.
I try to hold her hand as we walk but she instantly took back her hand from mine.
Okay, obviously, she was gonna do that. But it was worth a try.
"Alexa~" I say in a melodic tone.
"Don't. I'm cranky." She says with her beautiful narrowed eyes that focused on her path. Looks so cute.
"Why? Jealous I spent my night with another woman?" I tease her. I know it gets to her for some reason when I tease her like this.
She tsks and starts to walk fast. I scoff and follow her fast pace.
"Alexandria Mariano Sanchez, is that anyway to treat your boss?" I say with a slightly annoyed tone but with a hint of playfulness.
"It's how I treat jerks." She counters and continues walking fast, her heels clicking in the floor.
Fudge, this woman is abusing my affection for her too much sometimes. But hey, I'm not complaining. I love her sass and attitude and that infuriating smart mouth. Damn, I wanna taste that mouth.
I was about to make another comment but decides against it when we reach the conference room. As I look up at the wall clock, we're 1 minute early. Right on time.
Alexa opened the door for me and I entered with a confident stride.
And yes, that was not gentlemanly of me, but if I opened the door for her, it would cause murmurs and would make her hate me. More than she already does.
Sitting down at the center of the long glass table with Alexa sitting by my side.
'Her rightful place, which I wish was also the case when it comes to my bed.' I think as I look at her dreamily.
She clears her throat which made my professional button on in an instant.
I look at the board members seeing them all present, I say with my deep, charming voice that could make any woman's knees go jelly.
Except Alexandria Mariano Sanchez's.
"Let's start the meeting."
