"I do " Seraphina replied . She heard the congregation clap as she slid the ring on his finger.
He said his vows but she was too distracted by her own thought to listen to what he was saying, it was until she felt the cold ring slid onto her finger that she blinked.
She breathed her body stiffning as he got closer to unveil her . After they had placed it on her it gave her a sense of safety but now with it gone ,she was fully visible to everyone and that included the stranger Infront of her , her now husband.
She gulped as her large brown eyes slowly moved up to face him, he has taken her sweaty shaky hands into his gaining her attention.
Blinking she studied his sharp angular features . High cheekbones with a strong jawline , his nose was perfectly straight with peach coloured thin lips and a pale clear skin.
Seraphina looked away when his piercing blue eyes stared back at her .
"You may now kiss the bride " she heard the priest say.
Her now husband slowly pulled her closer ready to seal there vows with a kiss ,but Seraphina didn't seem to want to move from where she has planted her body .
So he moved instead where she was and slid a hand to hold her waist bending towards her lips.
"Rosalinda ,are you okay ?" his voice calmly asked.
She blinked meeting his gaze ,the name had he had called her woke her up .
Yes it wasnt her name but it reminded her of the promise she had made .
She nodded giving him a warm smile.
He didn't linger when he kissed her ,but she could see his eyes studying her .
The noise from the guests took away her attention as they followed them out with congratulations cheer.
It was until they all got together for a family photos outside the church the he finally said something to her again.
Seraphina felt his hand hold her by the waist inching her closer to him, he bent down to her ear.
"Your not my bride" he whispered.
She glanced back at him with a both surpised and frightful expression .
"What do you mean?". She calmly asked .
"Rosa would never allow me to kiss her " he stated.
"Huh?" her voice startled the others ,but she chuckling pretending nothing was wrong.
"Who are you?" his blue eyes searched her eyes for answers.
Seraphina froze . It wasn't even an hour yet and he had already seen through her .
