Chapter 24 - Chapter 24

Three years later ....

Jordan, Kelly and I stepped out of the exam ha. Smile plastered on our faces.

As we shared a collective sigh of relief. The gruelling three-hour exam was finally over, and we couldn't wait to celebrate.

I'm so done with finals! Jordan exclaimed, tossing his backpack over his shoulder.

Who's up for a celebratory drink? Kelly and I exchanged a look, and in a perfect sync, we chimed in. We are!!

We strolled across campus, passing by the bustling squad, where students were either studying for their next exam or celebrating the end of the semester.

We made our way to our favorite campus bar, where we knew the bartender would hook us up with some well deserved drinks

As we sipped our margaritas and shared stories of our semester, I couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and accomplishment. We'd made it through another semester and we were one step closer to graduation.

But as we clinked our glasses together in a toast, I couldn't shake off the feeling that this summer was going to be different. We'd all be spreading our wings, pursuing internships, and exploring our passions.

It was exciting, yet terrifying, to think about the unknown adventures that layed ahead.

Kelly filled us in on her summer plans. Interning at a marketing firm in the city, she said, her eyes shining with excitement.

Jordan and I exchanged a look, and I could tell he was thinking the same thing- we needed to make the most of our summer together.

What about us? He asked, turning to me. Have you thought about our summer plans?

I smiled feeling a flutter in my chest. I was thinking we could take a road trip together, I said, my eyes locked on his.

Kelly squealed in delight. That sounds amazing! Can I come?

Jordan chuckled. Sorry Kel, this one's just for the two of us.

Kelly pretended to pout, but we knew she was happy for us.

As we clinked our glasses together in a toast, I felt grateful for these two amazing people in my life. And I knew that this summer was going to be the one to remember....
