I finished my assignment around six and went out for fresh air when I saw Damien heading towards my house.
What are you doing here? Hi my mom asked me to give you this he said handing me a box of freshly made cookies.
Oh thanks. "You welcome" he said with a small smile
Wait for me I said and dashed in putting the cookies in the fridge. I went back outside and he offered to walk with me and I agreed.
We talked about a lot of things and before I knew It we ended up in the second street.
And it was already getting dark
Oh shit!! Mom's gonna kill me!! I said freaking out
Don't worry I'll walk you back. Oh I almost forgot can I have your contact?
We exchanged contacts and he walked me home.
And lucky me mom was fast asleep when I got home. Damien and I chatted for hours and he was kinda sweet.
And it wasn't exactly a secret that he liked me, but I wasn't ready for another relationship yet. Not with what happened with my ex. I remembered clearly when I was seventeen and I dated my senior not knowing they made a bet on me.
Even though I was almost hundred percent sure Damien wasn't like that. Human can't be trusted easily and to top it off he was good looking so there no way he doesn't have some girls crushing on him
But you are single Lily I muttered to myself. You've been single for seven months I added talking to no one in particular.
Or should I give him a chance? He wasn't that bad actually maybe I judged him too soon.
Okay so now if he asks me out I'll agree I pondered on it till I fell asleep.
The next morning....
Mom I'll be late for class again!! I yelled. Give me a few more minute she said searching for her keys frantically.

I arrived late and missed the first class. Miss parker since you came in last your punishment is to help the new student after class for a week. What? A week?!
This is ridiculous I muttered but the teacher didn't hear me.
So who's the student? And to my horror the teacher pointed to freaking Damien who looked elated to hear the news.
Ugh fine I surrendered.
Few hours later....
The closing bell ranged and I rushed to pick my bag and go home when Damien reminded me of my duty.
I cussed under my breath as I followed him to an empty class. So where do we start from? He brought out all his textbooks.
I have to teach you all of these? I really don't understand them he said with a puppy face.

I taught him a few things and by the time we were done it was already four. I'm so hungry I feel like I haven't eaten in ages I whined
