A year quickly passed by. Eudora got married, despite my warnings. It was like history was repeating itself.
Mama's home was refurnished and much more like it once was years ago. I heard no news from Dad but many from Faelan. It was a good thing I moved, Aunt Dara told me of how he had once stormed in asking for me and how he dropped gifts countless times hoping I would come back. I hadn't gone to my institution, because of all the events ,and was told to withdraw since my attendance rate had dropped. I withdrew.
I decided to start working. I was living on my own now I had to start fending for myself. After critical thinking and advices from Aunt Dara, I decided to open a cafe.
I pulled on a black denim baggy jeans and a fitted light blue tank top. Tossing a jacket on I stepped out for the first time since I got here. My mission today was go visit cafes, check out their menus and the most trendy edibles. I had drafted a building plan over the week and had consulted some construction workers online. I hadn't picked out a place yet though.
The first Cafe I visited belonged to an aqua elf. It was a seafood cafe. The second belonged to a Fire Elf, let's just say they majored in spicy things, even the coffee was spicy. The last one I visited belonged to a Woodland elf, they offered herbs for coffee, it was bitter but refreshing.
I sat still trying to get the bitter taste of my tongue and also admiring the place. Tiny fairy lights floated around similar to the ones at the place Eudora and I met. Lush vines draped from the ceiling and glowing fruits hung from them. The place had a very nice atmosphere, I slumped in my seat this place was nice, very nice. One of the waiters came up to me
"Hello, do you need anything else?"
I waved my hand indicating a 'no' and looked out the window
"Um...I didn't quite catch your response" the waiter spoke up. With a frown I faced the person, my jaw slacked as my eyes met green filtered eyes
