Konstantin looked out of the window, how could Drayce? He thought he would approve Lani to him but we'll, Drayce never ceases to surprise him. He clenched his fist. Why would Drayce prefer Alexa to him, his first son.
He inhales deeply.
"I am your first son!" He threw his fist at Drayce's portrait that lay at the edge of his room.
The fact that Drayce said to his face that he couldn't make him the company's president, accompanied with Alexa's rejection of what he wanted the most made him annoyed.
He wanted money, he wanted that position, he wanted Lani!
With a grin, Konstantin stared at Alexa's picture.
"You have everything I want at your fist but they don't matter to you. I hate you!" He spat at the photo, picking it up.
"It's gonna be slow dear but Alexa, I'm coming for you!" He said, smashing the photo and laughing widely.
Meanwhile, Raelynn was tied arms and feet with a chain as she was being wiped . Aleena knelt before her, she wept but dared not move closer.
Raelynn cried, she didn't know what was happening till she saw the blood in her hand. All she could think of them was her mom being burnt in that fire.
Amber didn't hesitate to call Lani, there was poison in the pen knife which affected Alexa's blood vessels, weakening his system.
He was undergoing an emergency surgery and had lost a huge amount of blood. He had 50% survival rate due to the blood loss and weak vessels.
"That bastard!" Lani threw her fist against the wall. She wished Raelynn was present so she could rip her into pieces
Maquel left to control some stuffs at the dungeon. A known Mafia group 'The cold devils' had attacked the dungeon, Alexa had one of their men and they had come to take what belongs to them.
Maquel watched Alexa's men die, it was an unprepared war, if only Alexa was here, he would have quickly thought of a plan.
Maquel lay on that cold floor, he shot in the leg. All he could see was defeat. What would Alexa think of him? A weak master of course.
He had never seen Alexa get shot before and maybe, that was why they never lost a war. But Alexa was known for something, not giving up, and that was what he was going to do, he was going to fight, he wasn't gonna give up!
Maquel tried hard to stand, when he was up, he roared widely. He rushed towards the machine gun, without being told, he spared no souls of the cold devils.
"Maybe you really didn't come prepared" He yelled once the coast was clear,
" Ask those in hell, Alexa's Maulers never gives up!"
He roared once more, looking around as other men gathered the dead members. He fumed, he walked straight to the cell room where the Cold devil Mafia was tied to a chain, fire burning beneath him.
He used an axe to cut him head off.
"Prepare, we are sending this head to the Don of the Cold devils"
One noted thing about Alexa was he hated the shortage of troops and now, Maquel was going to act like Alexa, he wasn't going to spare anyone.

Maquel left the dungeon to Alexa's abode, he walked to the prison cell where Raelynn was being punished, his vein was filled with urge to take revenge, he wanted to kill this fellow.
If only Raelynn hasn't stabbed Alexa, this troop would have been alive. He pointed the gun at her, a devilish smirk playing on his face.
"One of Alexa's rules I will never forget is an eye for an eye. Now, you've made us loose hundreds of those men, I won't hesitate to take back those life's" He corked the gun, pointed it on her forehead and was about shooting when he remembered she was Alexa's wife.
"Damn it!" He huffed.
Even if she had committed a crime of highest order, he has no right to discipline her for she was Alexa's highest possession. He clenched his fist, not knowing what to do.
He grinned, walking out of the cell.
The next morning, Alexa blinked, his pulse seems to be okay.
The nurse walked out after proper checkup. She informed Amber who was outside the ward.
Before she could enter the room, Alexa was already sitting, his drips were off. Amber facial expression changed to disappointment.
"Don't tell me you're leaving" She spoke up when he started dressing up.
"What does it seem like?" He asked without sparing her a glance.
Just as he stood, Maquel entered. Alexa winced in pains. The poison wasn't off his blood stream yet. He raised a brow at Maquel, Maquel was almost sober, they've lost men in Alexa's absence. It's gonna be a huge disappointment.
He felt Alexa had known what happened, his heart sank the moment his eyes met Alexa's.
Alexa walked passed him and without being told, he followed suit.
Once in the car, Alexa asked of Raelynn, first he was quiet but he couldn't hide the fact.
"She's being punished" Maquel bitterly answered.
Raelynn was his first move once at home. He never hesitated to visit the cell.
"Unchain her" He commanded the sentinels on guard.
All he could see was weak Raelynn, he imagined the pain she must have gone through. As his eyes laid on the marks on her body, his mood changed, he was extremely angry. It wasn't enough that she was chained, she was wiped too.
"Spare us sir Alexa, we were commanded by Miss Amber to do so" They pleaded while on their knees. Alexa has already gotten hold of one of the chains, he folded his palms in anger.
"We didn't just act sir" They were all afraid to die.
"And on whose command?" He yelled, his voice was loud and demanding that it kept all guards in tension.
" Mi ..s.s Am" They struggled to call the name
"On whose command!" He yelled again. The sentinels were now all quiet but he needed an answer.
He was about yelling out again when Raelynn got hold of him. She too was tensed at how angry he was. Tears dropped down her cheeks.
" N..o" Her cracked voice stammered in pains. By then, he was speechless, all he knew was he let go of the chain. But why this soft spot for a girl that almost has his life?
He jacked her up into his arms
He wondered what Raelynn was doing in his arms. Though he was weak, he felt strengthened carrying Raelynn. She looks innocent and maybe that must be the reason he feels guilty to punish her.
