Chapter 2: The System Awakens
"Where am I?" Akira muttered, staring at the unfamiliar scenery.
Suddenly, a robotic voice echoed in his mind:
"Welcome to the Online Shopping System, bound exclusively to you. Your journey to becoming the ultimate merchant immortal begins now!"
Akira was dumbfounded. A glowing interface appeared before his eyes, displaying options like "Mystical Treasures," "Cultivation Manuals," and even "Spiritual Pets."
"Wait, this is just like my shopping app!" he exclaimed.
"Indeed," the system replied. "However, purchases require Spirit Coins, which you can earn by completing missions, selling items, or defeating enemies."
To test the system, Akira clicked on the cheapest item: "Basic Spirit Sword – 10 Spirit Coins." Instantly, a glowing sword materialized in his hands.
"This... this is amazing!" Akira grinned.
