Ever since the game started, Kai had never truly realized just how important he was to other players within the game. He also ignored most of the things happening within the human villages, cities, and whatnot. After all, on top of being a monster, he was also unable to see the forums.
His only source of information was his sister, who would tell him a little about everything on the game forums. However, that was the extent of it.
That's why when Kai saw players offering over $200,000 for him to simply join their guild, he was completely mind-blown by it. He simply didn't understand how any of those guilds had so much money. This was simply a game, and as far as Kai knew, there was no way to make money through it.
At first, Kai had been completely uninterested in the offers, as he simply wanted to play alone, away from everyone else since he was a monster.
