Chapter 1 - Author's Note

This story begins at Mount Fujikasane during Final Selection 2 years before Tanjiro and his friends take the test and join the demon slayer corp. The MC and her friends interact with the characters from the main storyline somewhat but not enough to change the main story drastically. I decided to write this story because when I learned about demon slayer, all I could do was talk about it. Tanjiro and his friends occupied my dreams at night, and even during the day to be honest. It wasn't long before I created an OC for myself. Shorter still before I decided to write a fanfic for her. At the time of this story, I was still a relatively new writer, so I needed all the help I could get for the storyline and characters. The co-authors are Arkhwing, and Alin. Their OCs are known as Miaka Hashitaro, and Venin Tokiku. There is also a third main character named Akime Hanagetsu, but his creator bailed on us right before we started writing so she doesn't get much credit for helping. Anyway, they were a lot of help writing this story. We all had ideas and I didn't have to come up with all the characters. I wrote this for me, for my family and friends, and for you readers. I wanted people to enjoy my stories, and for those readers to want to write as well. I hope you guys enjoy our story, characters, and my writing. Also remember, I didn't do this alone, and if you want to start writing as well, (I hope you do) remember you can always go for help.
