Arc - Rise of the Dawn Arc
Chapter - Deadly Battle of the Dragons - Part 2
Greyson was in a difficult situation right now. He is not able to use his martial soul. Nor can he access his soul rings. He can not heal his body like that of Valour's. He has to fight against seven shadows as well as Valour. The only thing he has is the space sorcerery right now. Those eyes are giving him a tough time. With a flash of cold light, many black kuni appeared in his hands, and he threw it with great force all towards the battlefield. The seven shadows move towards Greyson, the kuni pass throw them. Many kuni were catched by the black tentacles. Valour didn't catch some kuni in order to trap Greyson. Greyson was surrounded by black spiky tentacles and seven ghostly shadows. They were like hovering black hoods. Valour said with an amused expression,
"You lose! This is your end, Greyson Salen!"
But then a Suriken appeared in the battlefield and deflected one of Greyson's kuni in another direction. Then it's deflected again and again in series by the Shuriken. Valour was distracted for that moment that he didn't even see a black Suriken to pass through his right side. Vincent appeared in the air and hit Valour's left eye with the black kuni. Just as Vincent had injured Valour's left eye. Greyson's Kunies glowed with white radiance. Nine rings appeared under his feet. Three purple, three black, two red and one misty skyblue ring. He turned into Blue Mist and started to kill the shadows one by one. In a matter of seconds, Greyson destroyed four shadows. The three shadows were able to retreat back in time. Vincent also disappeared from the battlefield as he hid his presence and himself somewhere. Vincent was also able to use the Runic Space Sorcerery like his father. Greyson noticed that the shadow rings of Valour had reduced to five from nine. Valour was covering his left eye with his right hand, and blood was coming out from his mouth and ears. He was looking more like an old man now.
The tomoes of his right eye start spinning very fast. His wounds and left eye were healed. Greyson decided to approach the enemy with a different strategy.
Greyson disappeared from the view, and there was only silence. After a minute later, no one approached him. He thought that they had escaped, and he started to destroy things here and there. No one had ever humiliated him to this degree.
"Pathetic ... You disappointed me ... "
He again lowered his gaurd, which was his mistake. And Vincent appeared and attacked him from the side. He was wearing a black cloak with a symbol of crescent red moon engraved on its back. Valour subconsciously considered him Greyson and used the ability of his left eye on him. As Vincent didn't have a martial soul in the first place. So, it's useless against him. Greyson appeared from the other side and attacked on Valour at the same time as Vincent. The two shadows defended the 'Dark Lord' as they sacrificed themselves as they appeared in front of the blue mist. At that time, Valour moved his gauntlet to capture Vincent. But Vincent disappeared with a grin on his face. Now, Valour understood how Vincent suddenly appeared in the battlefield and changed its flow. He was missing an important thing. When Greyson attacked him, there was no silver sword between his teeth. That silver sword appeared from the sky and hit his right shoulder. The target of the sword was the right eye, but it missed. But the sword was able to implant the 'Dark Lord' on the ground. Greyson didn't waste this opportunity. The two red rings glows up, and a fierce red light is generated from Vincent's arms. He swings his arms, and a red fire has covered the battlefield. The barrier was on the verge of breaking. It was preventing the undead creatures from entering the fight. The barrier didn't prevent Greyson and Vincent from entering and leaving.
After Vincent turned the tables of the battle. He met up his father. Greyson didn't say anything, just that they have to kill the 'Dark Lord' here and now. Or else, he will bring great destruction and chaos to them as well as the whole world. Also, Greyson took a promise from Vincent that if he somehow died, then Vincent should escape. Greyson knows his son very well. His son can break the shinobi code, but not the promises. Thus, now they are both engaged in a deadly battle. The fiery red fire turned into a fire dragon as it soared towards the sky. The dragon started to cover with blue electricity. Greyson enhanced his fire dragon with lightning through the [Second Formation Wall]. The defensive system of Azure Village can not be taken lightly.
Valour cutted his left shoulder. He was barely able to escape from the first attack. As he looked at the second attack towards the sky. His expressions started to pale, while wariness was evident from his eyes.
"[Demonic Fire Dragon] where ... just where did you get this spirit soul ... "
The last shadow of the 'Dark Lord' took the damage into himself and nullified the incoming attack. Thus destroying itself with the incoming attack. This attack was too fast, even for Valour to dough. He didn't have any other choice except to use his last shadow as a decoy. When Valour fully healed himself, he again found himself alone. For the next fifteen minutes, there was a battle of three against one. First Greyson, then his son, and then his annoying silver sword, which moved and flew in the air automatically. They were using the strategy of guerrilla tactics. Vincent acts as a distraction for his father to deliver a perfect blow to the 'Dark Lord'. The strange silver sword, which had its own mind, sometimes acts as a distraction while sometimes as an offensive. It was always present where it had to be at the right time. Valour didn't have any shadows left that could protect him from the blue mist attack of Greyson. The only thing that could protect him was the ability of his left Arringun. He was in an extremely disadvantageous situation right now. But he also had some tricks under his sleeves.
