Vikram saw a series of options before him, with the image of the CD displayed as a wallpaper in the background of a 'screen.' His attention shifted to his own form, and he realized he was no longer in his physical body. Instead, he felt ethereal, like he was in a spirit form.

Focusing his mind, Vikram willed himself to select the [New Game] option. As soon as he did, the wallpaper seemed to come alive, rippling and shifting before he was suddenly transported into another space altogether.

Here's an improved version of your passage:

Vikram stood surrounded by three imposing statues. The one to his left depicted a man with a robust physique, draped in a wolfskin coat. The primal bloodlust emanating from the statue sent a chill down Vikram's spine, making him shiver in fear.

The statue in the center featured a knight, exuding an aura of righteousness and steadiness. Clad in full armor, the knight leaned on the sword in front of him, his posture one of unwavering resolve.

On the right was a figure wearing a large hat and a long overcoat that obscured his body, resembling the vampire-like figures from 19th century London.

Vikram studied the statues for a moment, each one radiating its own unique presence. After a pause, he made his choice.

Vikram's screen changed, and suddenly, a castle came into view.

"A long time ago, Athenia was a prosperous realm..." A monologue suddenly started to happen, and cutscenes began to flash in front of him.

He saw the scenery of a giant castle, towering walls, and vast architecture. The sun shone on the land and created an eye-pleasing image.

A mother cradling her child with happiness, a father teaching his son how to swing a sword, and children playing in the fields. All these tapestries of colors and prosperity made Vikram feel that something ominous was coming.

"Then, it wasn't," The image of the prosperous land was covered with a dark ominous cloud. It was as though the life was sucked out of the lands.

"Queen Gweniwith." Vikram saw multiple black hooded cloaked men holding a woman who was held down and stabbed with an obsidian knife into the neck of the woman. "Was dead, killed the Order of the Seeker."

"That was when everything went wrong. The fate of the world started to wring down, and the Light of Pathood was shattered." Vikram saw a golden flame was put out, and the land of Atherina was covered with darkness.

"The Order that the Demigods followed was shattered by infighting. They waged relentless wars against one another, and blood flowed like rivers." Vikram watched in horror as vast armies of different races clashed, the sky growing ever grimmer with the bloodshed that stained the atmosphere.

"Something stirred in the void, but it stirred for all the wrong reasons." Vikram saw how the small remnants of golden flames, once extinguished, landed across the land. As darkness enveloped the realm, multiple ominous red eyes glared down, their gazes filled with insatiable hunger.

"Uninvited guests—demons ravaged the lands, and all hope was lost." Vikram witnessed demons of all shapes and sizes massacring humanity, the devastation relentless and overwhelming.

"Until it wasn't," Vikram saw a small light breezing through the lands and finally landing on a hand that was among the mountain of corpses.

Vikram felt a pull on his body, and his vision blacked out. After some moments, he slowly had the ability to open his eyes. He slowly stirred up, and he looked around his surroundings.

It was snowing, and he was in a cave, and when he saw what was behind him, his stomach churned. There was a mountain of corpses that was behind him, and the smell was disgusting.

He moved forward, and he saw two axes in front of him, and a notification came to his vision.

[Barbarian Double Axe(Weapon)]

He took it, and it felt nice in his hand, as though it belonged in his hands. The blade was made of some kind of steel, and the handle was made of some kind of wood. The grip was made of some kind of paper and cloth that made the grip a little stronger.

[Barbarian Wolf cloak(Armour)]

Vikram took the armor from another corpse and wore it.

Vikram felt as though his blood stirred, and something inside him awakened. Only now did he actually look at his body, and he was extremely buffed.

He was tall too, he was at least 6'4. Vikram flexed his muscles and was displeased. He was too buff, and Vikram knew that it would affect his agility.

Speaking of that...

Vikram looked at the screen that was in front of him and nodded to himself. The screen vanished, and Vikram was getting the gist of everything.

First, he looked for an exit. A way to exit this game, but no matter what he tried, there was no respite, so he moved forward.

The entity that took his heart stole his ability to progress, but also gave him... this. He didn't know what this all was, but now, he could only move forward.

He got out of the cave, and the cold wind caressed his body. The wolf pelt shook back, but Vikram felt that the cloak was tightening its hold on him, protecting him from the cold.

He put on the hood, which made the face of the wolf come forward, and walked forward. There was a small clearing and an inclination of land on the other side. He climbed the inclination of land, and he heard a horse roar.

Vikram squinted, as he saw a husk of a man carrying a cross, and coming to him with no kind intentions.
