POV 1
Hey, my name is Amonawa Chiba, but most people just call me Chiba.
I take pride in calling myself cultured.
I own an entire library filled with comics—manga, manhua, and manhwa.
Not to mention the 1:1 scale action figure decorations scattered around.
I currently live in the house I inherited from my parents.
They left me their fortune because they were too busy with work, leaving no time for me.
Since I was little, I've been raised by the family maid.
To me, she's like an older sister.

Yup... you read that right. My world is about to enter the 23rd century.
On the surface, things seem peaceful, but beneath it all, the world is rotten.
Right now, I'm getting ready to head to campus.
You know what? I don't have many close friends.
A girlfriend? Yeah, right.
The only love I have is for my beloved waifu.
Anyway, back to the topic...
I put on a black suit with a white shirt underneath.
At my university, students are required to wear formal suits.
After finishing up, I checked my reflection in the mirror.
I have silver-white hair, blood-red eyes, pale skin, and an average height. My body is well-toned because I work out regularly, even though I proudly call myself cultured.
These traits come from my genes. My mom is Danish, while my dad is a lucky Indonesian man.
Satisfied with my look, I left my room and headed downstairs to the dining room for breakfast.
When I arrived, I saw my personal maid setting the table.
"Good morning, young master~" she said.
She had dark brown hair, brown eyes, tan skin, and stood about shoulder height compared to me. She wore a classic French maid outfit.
She's Japanese, with a mix of Indonesian and Japanese heritage.
"Morning, Marta," I replied.
"Please enjoy your breakfast, young master," she said with a bow.
"Mm, sure~"
I sat down and finished my breakfast.

After eating, I took my sports car out of the garage and warmed it up for a bit.
Once it was ready, I stepped on the gas and sped off.
The drive from my mansion to campus takes about an hour if there's no traffic.

Time Skip
I arrived at campus and parked in the student parking lot.
After turning off the engine, I grabbed my things and walked to class.
*****
I took a seat in the back corner, next to the window overlooking the campus courtyard.
While I was lost in thought—probably about how One Piece still hasn't ended—someone suddenly startled me.
"Yo... Chiba, my man! How's it going?!" a voice shouted.
I turned toward the voice and saw the annoying guy who always bugs me.
His name is Haru. He has a severe little sister complex, which makes me want to punch him sometimes.
"Oh... Haru... What's up?" I replied lazily.
"Hey... what's with that tone?" he asked, frowning.
"Nothing," I answered bluntly.
I ignored him by putting on my earphones and playing some music.
Realizing I didn't want to talk, Haru backed off.
As I was vibing to my playlist, a group of people suddenly barged in with weapons.
My face—and everyone else's—turned pale.
"Hands up! All of you!" one of the robbers barked.
We did resist because it would be stupid to fight them.
But... someone didn't comply.
Her name was Emilia—a beautiful girl with silver hair, green eyes, and fair skin. She didn't raise her hands because... she was deaf.
Even with her hearing aid, she probably had it switched off.
A classmate sitting next to her tried to shake her, but it was too late.
One of the robbers pointed his gun directly at Emilia's head.
Feeling the shift in the atmosphere, Emilia looked up—her face went pale.
Just as the robber pulled the trigger, I instinctively dashed toward her, shielding her with my body.
BANG BANG BANG
The bullets tore through me, likely hitting vital organs.

AUTHOR POV
Everyone froze, unable to move.
They just witnessed Chiba take bullets for Emilia.
Blood pooled around him, staining the floor red.
Some students felt nauseous, their faces twisted in horror.
"Hah... that's what you get for playing hero!" the robber sneered.
"Now, follow us! Or you'll end up like him!" their leader shouted.
Powerless, they obeyed.
'Ugh... damn it... Why did I move on my own?' Chiba thought in confusion.
'Hah... I guess I won't make it to the cultural festival this year,' he lamented as his strength faded.
Slowly, his eyes closed.

POV 1
Ugh... so bright. What's happening? Why can I see light? I thought I died.
Hesitantly, I opened my eyes.
The first thing I saw... was a giant holding me!?
Wait… a giant?! Is this hell's punishment?!
N-no, something feels off...
I looked around carefully.
A woman lay on a bed, breathing heavily.
They weren't giants. I... was reborn as a baby?!
Is this a blessing from Kami-sama?! No Truck-kun involved, just a terrorist? Oh crap…
Did I break the reincarnation curse?! I'm so proud of myself!
Before I could fake-cry like a baby, someone smacked my butt.
Ouch... seriously?!
Fine, I'll play along.
I started crying like a proper newborn.

AUTHOR POV
In a grand mansion located in a distant country, the atmosphere was bustling with urgency.
Today was the day—the lady of the house was about to give birth.
Lord Kagenou paced anxiously across the hall, unable to hide his nervousness. His heart raced as his wife endured the labor process in the next room.
Meanwhile, their young daughter sat quietly on a nearby chair, her legs swinging as she watched her father's restless movements.
"Father, am I going to have a sibling?" she asked innocently, tilting her head.
"Yes, my dear. You'll soon be a big sister," Lord Kagenou replied with a soft smile, though his expression betrayed his anxiety.
Moments later, the sound of newborn cries filled the air from inside the room.
Without hesitation, they rushed inside.
Upon entering, they saw Lady Kagenou lying weakly in bed, her face pale but content.
Beside her, two small cribs stood side by side, each cradling a newborn baby boy sleeping peacefully.
"Congratulations, Lord Kagenou. Lady Kagenou has successfully delivered two healthy and strong baby boys," the nurse announced cheerfully.
"Thank you all for assisting with my wife's delivery," Lord Kagenou said gratefully, bowing his head toward the medical staff.
"We'll take our leave now, Sir. Should you need anything, please feel free to call on us," the nurse responded politely.
"Thank you," Lord Kagenou replied.
The nurses exited the room quietly, leaving the family in solitude.
"How are you feeling, dear?" Lord Kagenou asked, approaching his wife with concern in his eyes.
"Hah... I've never felt this exhausted~" she replied with a faint smile.
"Mother, are those my baby brothers?" their daughter asked, her wide eyes fixed on the cribs.
"Yes, sweetheart. They're your little brothers~" Lady Kagenou said warmly, gently brushing her daughter's hair.
"What are their names, Mother?" she asked curiously, stepping closer to the babies.
"The one on the left is Shido Kagenou," Lady Kagenou said as she softly caressed the baby's tiny hand.
"As for the one on the right... I'll let your father decide~" she added, turning her gaze toward her husband.
Lord Kagenou paused for a moment before smiling.
"Hmmm... How about we name him Cid Kagenou? What do you think?" he suggested.
"Perfect~" Lady Kagenou replied, her tired eyes filled with joy.
"Welcome to the world, my little ones," she whispered tenderly.
The family gazed lovingly at the two newborns, warmth filling the room.
Their daughter's heart swelled with excitement—she couldn't wait to take on the role of a big sister.
