Chapter 63 - Frostbound Legacy

This chest guaranteed a Dark Gold-tier item. If lucky, maybe even a Legendary treasure.

And yet, Ethan couldn't open it.

He ran his fingers over the prismatic glow of the chest, reluctant to step away.

But there was no choice. He'd have to come back later.

Ethan moved through another passageway, the air turning sharp with biting cold. He was getting close.

Stepping out of the tunnel, he entered a vast chamber.

The ground stretched before him, nearly encased in ice. Right at the passage's entrance, a crimson orb floated in midair, radiating heat that clashed violently against the surrounding frost.

Without it, the entire space would have been a frozen tomb.

Below the orb, a circular hole had melted into the ice, where water trickled into an unseen abyss.

And in the heart of the chamber, floating above the frozen ground, was a translucent blue longbow.
