"Am I your personal maid or something? You keep asking me to feed you," Winter muttered, bringing another bite close to his lips.
Kalix smirked before taking the food from her fingers. "You're going to be my wife. It's better you get accustomed to your wifely duties—both in and out of the bedroom."
Winter furrowed her brows at his words. She should have objected, but for some reason, she didn't. Something about the way he said it made her feel... accustomed to the idea.
'Will it really be that bad? Now I have to take care of two kids instead of one.'
Shaking off the thought, she continued feeding him.
"I won't bother asking how you found out I left the house since Stanley was with me," she said, narrowing her eyes at him. "But why didn't you panic when you couldn't reach me?"
She watched him closely, patiently waiting for his response.
